I know there have been many threads and yes I have searched, but I just want a little insight. My cousin is going to buy it tonight and he is coming over, do you guys have any tips or starting car tips, ( because I'm sure everyone is pretty far by now ), Also what is fun to do with 2 people?

If you would rather just read here, I suggest you start with the Mazda Miata. That is the car I secondly started off with. The first time I played I bought the Toyota Rizz or something. Don't buy that, that car sucks. Get the Miata, with the left over money buy a turbo kit.

The Trueno is a good choice, as well as the Miata. The Vitz is useful as well since you can enter it in the Vitz Cup and make $5k a race, good easy money.

Tips:
- Miata is a good beginner car
- Always start with racing chip for first mod.
- Turbo is VERY good, but don't turbo every car, not all races allow turbo
- Keep a variety of cars, don't sell all and keep one. You will need FR, FF, MR, AWD's and many others
- Don't put all your money into more HP.
- Mod all aspects at a time.
- Sport brakes rule!
- Once you get a good top speed with turbo, enter Turbo only race and race track #2. If you have a high top end, its a snap to win and its nets $5k.

This game rules! I need an AWD and an FF car now. I'll probably get the Acura CL-S (my car, hehe) for the FF and a Lancer for the AWD (need Lancer for a specific race). So far, my favorite car has been the Cobra R and Camaro SS! Very fast and with the upgraded suspension and handling, they rule!

Best FF Car is the Spoon Civic Type-R. Too bad you can only win it by winning the Professional FF Challenge..

My favorite FF car from GT2 at least, was a tricked out VW Golf w/ 1.8t engine. It was sporting about 300 HP and would whoop up on just about any other FWD car in the game

vi_edit My fav, FF from GT2 was either a 93 Civic SI or the Spoon Integra Type R. Havent tried a golf. Is the golf better than the two listed above?
