GTA 5 gameplay

Yeah I know that's how it goes and I don't really agree with it. I also read an article saying it was confirmed that's how it will be. I really hope they change it. I just have a few friends who will be online with me and neither of us will be paying for these things. Hopefully they don't ruin it like that. I won't be online with this a lot but open world online should be interesting. I wonder how it will be and what's to prevent from people just killing you randomly for no reason.

It isn't confirmed, it's rumor. Someone found an item that is like a credit card . Nobody knows if these cash cards are real money items or in game only items.

I heard there's like 500 missions not available in the single player. Presumably they are for the MP side of it. I wonder if you don't just run with a crew and try to do the missions. Instead of Lester sourcing knockout gas, you have to find it yourself. Dunno...just my thought.

Wow 500 missions for online. Im pretty sure you may need a crew to do them. There may as well be single missions too. Because you have to split money st the end of a heist online, looks like you would need a good crew not just random people to play with each time. Although I would see no issues if it was split evenly. One of my friend's buddies already incited me to be in a 'crew'.

Total noob question here, where do I find quick and easy health? In GTA4 I ate hot dogs and went to diners. There doesnt appear to be any food in GTA5? What about easy to find health packs?

There are small convenience stores you can go in and buy snacks. Trevor can go into the small gas station areas. Not sure about Franklin and Michael but they should be able to go into them as well. I just didn't check it out since trevor's area is pretty much all desert, I was able to scope out places that I could go in.

If you find a soda machine, buy a soda for $1 and it fills your health. Also police stations have health packs, your safehouse has a health pack, and the hospitals.

IDC if they sell stuff online. With gta4 me and my friends would lock it down so it was only us in the game and we could do what we wanted without other idiots messing it up for us.

It is kind of strange to see all the food places, yet none of them actually have food, including produce stands and the like. Sometimes it takes me a good five minutes to find a soda machine.

The cops are absolutely owning me in this game so far... three stars or more and I'm just dead. I even hid underground in a tunnel once, and they found me.

I do kind of like the difference in car-jacking though. I've had passengers get out, after I've thrown out the driver, and start shooting at me. If you have a weapon in your hand, the animations/etc are different. The best was when I was looking for a dirt bike while riding a quad; I rammed a dirt bike guy, jumped off my quad and took his bike.... he jumped on my quad, pulled out a handgun and started chasing me, shooting.

Btw, if you are having trouble finding bail-jumpers, hop in a helicopter and keep the phone image open while you fly around. Fly high enough, and you can easily make out landmark roads/etc from the bounty emails.

1) how can I buy a parachute? I did get one at the cable car but cannot buy others. I have not yet done all flight training.

2) agree with jamesv the cops are tough. Most of the time I can escape 3-star: drive fast and around constant corners, beside buildings etc and eventually you can lose the helicopter. Then hide out or switch cars. Remember vehicles needing of sight to see you. However 4 star is f**king hard to escape on the ground. I had a 10 min almost successful shoot out today on foot by the canal with the bridges, but the helicopters are so damn hard to take out with their two-sided guys and they require so much damage to take down that it is really difficult to shoot them away before other ones come a long.

3) I wish the game automatically always maintained position of last 10 vehicles. With this you could set up fast cars at key points. Also, the hanger never saves the net fighter but maybe I have to enter it as Trevor. I basically do not use garages as I find them worthless, which is a shame because they worked well in earlier games. Here they are not reliable plus there are so many fast cars all over that there is little motivation to take care of them.

There is a parachute on top of mount chilliad. You can also buy one at ammunation but you have to have it unlocked I believe. I'm hoping rockstar will release a patch and fix the garage issue.

The cops are crazy hard to get rid of. That mission with the shootout with Franklin and the other gang member I had three stars. We hopped in a car and drove fast around the corner and into the rail yard. I drove the car into the area with the semi truck containers and just hid the car inbetween them. The police somehow followed me there despite getting a good head start but luckily they didn't drive into the parking spaces of the trailers and I just waited.

Eventually, after a certain mission, you get a parachute any time you enter a plane / helicopter.

The only cars I have in my garage are some of the ultra rares ones (not the Bugatti, but ones you don't just find. The Koenigsegg and the Zonda clone, for example).

The first hanger and helipad at the airfield is Trevor's. It is like the car garages specific to each character.

So, I bought a tank and a boat last night. I don't even know why. Sadly, the tank is rather easy to have blown up. Plus, the deliver it to your hanger, so it is way out there.

I am having a real blast just roaming around and causing much mayhem. Like driving in a shitty neighborhood and starting gang brawls. Good times. Im pretty much getting the whole lay of the land before i start getting into the missions seriously. I played GTA:SA so much that I pretty much know every inch of the landscape. Trying to do the same here. Even though its the same area as SA nothing is the same. best sandbox game ever IMO.

Looks pretty easy to setup on the social club. Would have to choose a name and a four letter tag. Also decide if we would let anyone join, or just by invite.

Anyone got any ideas for a name/tag, and whether it should be invite only?
