Wait, how many games do you know of support a 6 degrees of motion controller? You can't just plug a rift into any game you want. It will do a stereoscopic display, but head tracking is a whole nother ball game.
Expect that 152Mbit to be 300Mbit in the next 18 months (50>100, 100>200 & 152>300 coming soon). Actually bandwidth expansion is taking a back seat to speed increases. Where I did some contract work (Newnet ISP) there was an average speed increase of 278% and in the 2 years prior and since just a 20% boost in available bandwidth.
What would you all recommend as the best controller to play GTA V?
Thanks in advance!
this issue is getting worse and worse for me. framerate keeps dropping to 20, i go to settings, disable vsync and it jumps back up to 40's-50's
Xbox 360/One wired/wireless without hesitation
So, I finally ran the benchmark on my ancient system. A Q9550 socket 775, 8gb DDR2 ram and an r290 4gb video card. Connected to my HDTV res at 1920x1080 and all graphic options and advanced graphic options at max and vsync on full I averaged 20fps. I am sure if I toned it down a bit I can get 40-50 easily but on max the game looks beautiful and plays well. I'm really impressed at rockstar for mostly getting this right on release day.
Paste your results if you wouldn't mindCurious to see if your cpu is holding you back or if that is what the 290 delivers.I maxed out my game at 1080p and got this on my 970....
Frames Per Second (Higher is better) Min, Max, Avg
Pass 0, 24.252806, 60.960030, 35.776657
Pass 1, 16.548588, 41.209766, 24.256332
Pass 2, 24.371456, 82.156883, 34.788223
Pass 3, 24.624531, 117.700981, 37.606979
Pass 4, 18.818731, 109.641304, 34.656448
Stock i7 3770 non k.All options including 8x MSAA+sliders fully maxed.
What are peoples opinions on the best trade offs for performance/graphics then. I want to stick with 2560x1600 and I'm at about 55fps at the moment, I've tried tweaking a little bit but there's so many combinations of options that it's tough to tell where is best to free up performance.
People have said Grass from ultra down to very high helps and doesn't look much different, even just 2xMSAA at 2560x1600 is killer but I want to keep that on. Ideally want another 10-15fps to get a steady 60-70fps just not sure what to drop.
No reason not include the DS4 as well. It works in any game the 360/one controller works. Just need to install drivers and plug it in.

This is how I play Dark souls 2 on PC, DS4 = <3
Also, I dont have any crashing or stability issues. My main problem is my CPU(a10-7850k) just isn't powerful enough to allow a consistent 60fps. It will sit around 30-40 Fps even at the lowest graphics settings.
Oh well, I have been playing it on my brothers computer which is an i5-4690k and an r9 270x, it hits 60FPS with everything set to high and medium AA.
princess frosty, have you tried using mfaa instead?
