Sorry, then you must be blind.

Look at the reflected edges of the cars and the drawers on the furniture as you walk around. Lines on the garage door @ 0:23-0:24 are a mess.

There is tons of temporal aliasing.

They're beta drivers and are released to add support for GTA 5. It succeeded in this. It has bugs and issues but it's a beta driver and won't be fully released anyway. If you don't want to experience any of these issues, feel free to wait for the next full catalyst driver release.

Contrary to Nvidia which runs fine and is WHQL. Tut Tut AMD.

It's hard for me to see jaggies in videos but I did see some on the cabinet drawers back wall. This wasn't noticeable in Dougs video.

Can you make a video in your garage using the same settings?

So I went to the beach parking lot. Settings are at the 2:30ish mark.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdylFLxPPUI

After looking at it, there are definitely jaggies, but for the most part I dont notice it when I'm playing. I notice it more on things in the background power lines, or in this video, the overpass leading to the pier.

Also, just because I got the guys suited up...

Of course Trevor would be the one with a bullet hole in him.

Whats wrong with msaa?
Enabling MSAA on a HD 7950 currently causes artifacts in the bottom right corner of the screen unless you turn Post FX down to high.
Its a glitch in the new AMD GTA V 15.4 beta drivers on some cards.
LINK 1
LINK 2
Me, I chose just to run Post FX on high so I could use MSAA on my 7950's until AMD fixes it.

note: It doesn't happen on my R9 290's, just my 7950's.

Only really see slowdown when driving off the roads in the hills/ high grassy areas.....but Just couldn't live with that flat normal grass, so I live with it dipping around the 30's in those areas to keep Grass on High.

Heck you can run x4 MSAA pretty well if you dont mind running Vsync at Half/30fps....I mean we ran at 30fps when we played the console version and never complained, right?....LOL.....I chose not to though.

Oh and my 7950's aren't clocked high at all.... 950/1350.....I just don't push them hard now, since they are in my old/backup PC.

Hmmmm....and your GPU is clocked higher than mine.
And Im running the game off of a mechanical hdd too. (my SSD is OS only, I put all my games on my HDD)

Im sure you're running the 15.4 beta drivers. (If not...try them, they improve performance a lot )
All I can think of is I run DDU after uninstalling my old drivers from control panel to ensure a clean install of new drivers.

You're running 16gb ram too, so Its not that.

I'm at a loss....those are what my numbers are at those settings.

EDIT: i remember I disable music search in the game settings...although I doubt that's it...but you never know.

My brother is coming to pick me up so I cant stay online, so here is my whole benchmark info, maybe you can see something we have different.

The new ride. Not maxed out yet. Still need to unlock the racing spoiler (that looks like the one from the veneno), the level 4 EMS upgrade, and the Epic Elipse exhaust port.

started playing GTA5 for the very first time on PC

game has tons of jaggies in the city even with 4xMSAA. turned on FXAA so at least they look like blurry jaggies instead of shimmering jaggies

also turned off DOF. don't know if that makes the jaggies more noticeable

driving with a controller >>>>>>>>>>>> driving with mouse / kb

most noticeable image improvement was playing on my IPS monitor instead of TN monitor

Man, it is really disappointing that the load times aren't much better than console.

It is really hard to get a good gaming session going when you are constantly waiting around for things to load.

Right now my GTA Online sessions are like this:

Load GTA Online.

Load Quick Race.

Wait 2 minutes for a random lobby.

Race.

Wait 2 minutes for the lobby again.

A new random host has been selected.

Guy doesn't even know they are host, so the 2:00 countdown timer begins again.

Also, they always leave "catchup" (computer assistance to speed up people who are falling behind) turned ON, which is a big no-no in multiplayer racing.

Decide I don't want to race anymore because of this bs.

Attempt to quit job and go back to free roam, wait 4 minutes for the game to load.

Online sucked so far, focusing on story. I've made a few compromises for 1440p, there are some bits that could have used a bit more work like on the left side of the screen but overall it looks great:

I'm having a great time so far, still early in the game.

Man, it is really disappointing that the load times aren't much better than console.

Of which you then proceed to list delays caused by either server matchmaking or other users and have nothing to do with load times.

Load times are fine..great... I havn't seen more than 3 slides. And my laptop beats out my old ps3 load times.

Man, I almost punched my monitor trying to do the helicopter flight training. The game implied I needed to do it to progress in the story. I finally said screw it and did some other stuff, and now it looks like I can continue anyway.

Yeah you don't need to do it. You do have to fly a chopper at a few points for missions but it's not too hard.

Yeah no matter what I do I cannot get rid of stutter. DX10 runs a bit better but not much.

Well this is interesting. I wanted to see what the differences in between AA performances, it appears I get no noticeable frame rate changes if I use No AA, MSAA 4x, and MFAA 8x. I saw about an 8fps hit when using MFAA 16x, but was pretty surprised that 4x msaa/ 8x mfaa is pretty much free. I've also been running 8x anisotropic and tried out 16x, it didn't seem to hit the benchmarks in any noticable way but I think I saw a few more hitches with it so I'm gonna keep it at 8x. I'm sure im not missing much.

Was thinking the same thing when I read his post. My load times from a SSD are pretty darn quick.

It actually wasnt bad. I crashed 3 times trying to pick up the sub in the ocean, and the game said never mind and restarted me in the air with the sub already hooked up.
