I can't seem to get more than 1 axis out of my right analog stick. With default settings if I move the stick left or right the camera moves up and down. After playing around with some of the Invert settings in the joypad config menu , I was able to get the camera moving left or right with the right analog stick but up or down wouldn't do a thing.

Isn't the right analog stick supposed to move the camera while keeping CJ stationary?I'm pretty much unable to complete the hydraulic car Cesar mission near the beginning till I get this fixed. Is there any setting I'm missing ? Any help's appreciated.

I am also having weird issues. I have the Rumblepad II which has the same controls as the PS2 pad but I cant get the D controls to program in the game. I am used to playing GTA:SA on the ps2 and am having a hard time using the gamepad on the PC. Game is buggy as hell. No force feedback? WTF! I hope a patch comes out real soon.

I've got the Logitech Wireless Rumblepad (the newer one that looks just like the PS2 controller and is black with an orange Logitech logo in the middle) and the right analog stick works fine for me controlling the camera both L/R and U/D.

I didn't have to do anything special to get them to work.

I'm able to control camera with the right stick, but the camera does not stay up even if I just use the left stick for riding. The ceasar mission though, you can use numpad keys on your keyboard to control the car bouncing in different directions with the music. It quite easy that way.

Both of my analog controls work fine, its the directional control that wont remap in the game. The Rumblepad II has the same layout as a PS2 controller and on the PS2 controller the D control changes the radio stations and was used for positive or negative responces in the game. I want to have the Logitech work like the PS2 control because I am so used to playing GTA:SA with the PS2 layout that I can't play the PC version the way I want to. I dont want to use a gamepad, KB and freaking track ball to play a game! ARG! I hate ported games! If your gonna port a console game port it right! The other GTA games were ported correctly why not this one?

Thx melijak , I just reassigned all the "special ctrl" directional keys to the arrow keys and that got me past the Cesar mission.

Still can't seem to get the right analog to control all camera directions and I haven't been able to get the gamepad to control the target on manual mode. During the Big Smoke mission on the bike the target was controlled by the left analog stick but anywhere else and the right does nothing and the left stick only moves the target up or down.

Like Oyeve said it seems to be impossible to have the mouse control the target and use the gamepad at the same time. Seems like you have to switch to "mouse and keyboard" config to get the mouse to control the target but you then lose some gamepad controls.

It's gonna be a pain if I have to enter my options to change to mouse before every time I might have to target manually. I never had any problems with Vice City on my pc with the same gamepad. None of these were issues.

Is anyone else having the exact same problem with the right analog stick not moving the camera all 4 axis?
