There's a problem with that though. Nobody with any position in EA, Rockstar, Ubisoft etc etc is looking at Anandtech to see who is and is not buying a game. So you are just filling up the screen with words at that point. Which I guess is fine, but it doesn't do anything. Especially when so many times people claim to boycott something but then go and buy it anyway. There comes a time when it goes from making a point to just a bunch of clutter on a forum.
Not you specifically of course, just in general. If you don't want it or have something against it don't buy it. I doubt people on forums want to know your reasons for your choice.
But is that any different than gushing over it? I guess I don't get why you think things have to be one sided. Sounds like you don't want a discussion, just a bunch of people saying how awesome something is. Their own forums are for that.
