How is the framerate on the PS3 in GTA5? I wasn't quite happy with it in GTA4. I'm considering getting the PS3 version myself. Don't know if I'll be able to wait for the PC version.
For me, it's not even the framerate but the muddy textures/Color and all the jaggies. I also recently picked up Red Dead Redemption and I just feel like I'm forcing myself to play the game. Next-Gen Consoles can't get here soon enough.
Bad news for you... Next-gen consoles are not that good, they can run Battlefield 4 at 60fps only because the resolution is 720p stretched to 1080p, so the image is not going to be all that sharp...

I'm calling BS on this, jaggies everywhere.
Besides the fact that the game is using ~900mb of RAM and 2% CPU
I don't know why you guys are speculating WHETHER it will come to PC.
Of course it will- 100%. It's obvious.
The question is when.
I gave up hope waiting on Red Dead Redemption so caved and bought it for the 360. I personally feel like if Red Dead was going to come to PC it should have already made it by now. With Next-Gen consoles on the rise I just think it's unlikely Rockstar will go back and dig up a port for PC gamers.
what about Red Dead Redemption?
Red Dead Redemption was developed by RockStar San Diego. Grand Theft Auto is developed by RockStar North. All of the GTA games have been ported to PC, as has most of RockStar North's catalog. None of RockStar San Diego's games have been ported to PC (the Red Dead series and the Midnight Club series). So it's not really fair to compare them; just because they're published by RockStar doesn't mean it's the same team working on both of them. The RockStar San Diego team does not port to PC; the RockStar North team always does (at least as far as GTA is concerned).
GTA V will come out on PC. But as there's been no official announcement yet, all these rumors are just BS being spread by people who want to mess with you. Don't believe a single word of anyone who mentions any specifics as far as release date, resolution, texture fidelity, advanced graphic options, or any other specific details which are impossible to know at this point. Anticipation shouldn't deactivate your "never trust anything on the internet" filter.

I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come at all.
I played it on Xbox and had the feeling the visuals were done at higher rez with next gen consoles (and PCs) in mind, then downcoverted to squeeze into last gen system specs. I think they're just holding it to release at the most strategic time. They obviously wanted to milk last gen sales as much as possible and it probably did better than expected, so there's no rush to double dip.
