I think I saw that either on the EVGA forums themselves or overclock net's. I'm no longer in a rush to finish my build, so I'll be waiting until the hydro copper's come out, and then I'll choose between two of those or two non-reference cards that have great PCB designs and power delivery and then I'll try to find a waterblock for those!

Whilst some amount of cards might arrive on the above dates, it doesn't seem like it will necessarily be in particularly large amounts. According to Gibbo over at ocUK, the stock (for all brands) won't really get better until July/August, so it might take a bit longer than just the end of the month for things to stabilize.

I found the Geforce GTX 1080 founders edition online for sale.

The Gigabyte Windforce has been in stock at newegg off and on today quite a bit. It goes fast, but it was in stock quite a bit.

Its kinda expensive vs the others, but its cooling is pretty sweet 3 fans vs 2 lik eothers.

I got the ad and once you clicked on it and you took you to the item page, there it said free Gigabyte G1 mouse with purchase, and Hurry stock limited to 100 units, or something to that effect. So that was correct and not made up. But they all went super-fast. I mean you pretty much had minutes to grab one.

I know it's not bogus. I have a Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080 (and a mouse) en route to me as we speak. I didn't know about the promo - the free mouse just showed up in my cart.

My point is that everyone seems to think that the email is saying that newegg only received 100 cards, but I'm thinking that they may have received more (or less) cards but only have 100 free mice to give away.

Generally, companies put an item number disclaimer on the free give-away to cover themselves in the event they run out. If they sell out of cards, they sell out of cards. If they run out of free mice and don't send you one when they advertised free mice, they are liable for false advertising.

That's a great looking card. It's out of stock with no price every time I see it on newegg... Just curious, how much was it?

EXACT same thing happened to me this morning on the Newegg web page. Had the card in my basket, it had applied my Newegg gift cards ($649.99) and I was ready to hit next and the card disappeared from my cart! So much for being a Premier member!

I was FROSTED. Had to call Newegg and verify that my Newegg gift cards were still valid and had not been used even though it showed them as having been applied to the price. The young man verified my ID numbers and that the cards were still valid.

They profusely apologized but this is ridiculous.

I'll probably wait a day or two more. What a frustrating experience. Have been buying from Newegg since 2001 and NEVER had that happen before.

I just turned on my nowinstock text notifications since email barely comes through. Ordered it while driving lol. Didn't even flinch. Now I can call customer service to see if I can change shipping to willcall...
