It does look pretty nice, congrats on being able to get one.
Got it, have it installed already
Some minor issue with it, but nothing major. I still can't get used to the fans not running when not in games most the time. Kind of makes me nervous. lol
Ok the minor issues are this..
The card is same length as my "old" 780Ti, but its also about a quarter inch in height taller, about a half inch wider! I can see people having issues with that even in nice cases like mine..which brings me to my first minor issue. The PCI-E cables on the card are upside down vs previous cards? Not sure if just a MSI thing, or all cards, but being that mine was the other way (notch that snaps it is on top instead of bottom) the wires are very hard to twist around to fit the other way....which makes them not as flexable..so they stick out more towards the side. The issue is, i have a clear window on case, and it actually popped it out. lol
Lucky no damage or anything, it snapped back in, but you can visually see the bulge in case side.
Basically, you better measure case length AND width before you get a card.
The only other thing that is kind of annoying, but not the fault of MSI, just mine for not researching it first, is only one DVI port, rest are HDMI. I got one HDMI and two DVI monitors. Again, just me not checking first, but not a big deal i can get converter for other monitor.
The other minor quirk is even though i have latest Geforce driver, i have to reinstall it to get card to be detected. Not sure if that is Nvidia issue or Win 10.
Other than that, just going to play with it for a bit to see. Running some benchmarks while at work
