gtx 465 is seeing a 50% unlock rate with 10 memory chips version.

Personally, at $250 I'd rather just put out a few more bucks to get a guaranteed 470.

I haven't unlocked them and I don't know if I'm going to. The Asus unlock tool doesn't work when you have more then one video card. I could flash the bios but I wanna wait till the card has some more mileage on it. Thats a big wattage usage anyway for something that is already running everything smooth as it is.

Update, unlocked to GTX470s, I may eventually put a volt mod bios on these cards so I can overclock better, no issues thus far. Getting 60FPS in Uniengine Heaven with extreme tesslelation, 4x AA and 16x Aniso at 1280x1024. Really sweet for a Phenom 2 X4 940 OC'd to 3.6 on DDR800 memory at Cas 4.

Was definately worth the $212 dollars a card. Now if MSI would ever update my bios for my K9N2 Platinum board for the X6 cpus I'd be even happier.

I love AMD for CPUs(I wouldn't even dream of going to intel due to so many problems I've had with their systems(with the exception being laptops, thats Intel inside for me)) but Nvidia has my heart when it comes to video cards.

Yeah, only thing I wanna do now is upgrade to an X6 CPU and 8GB of Ram. The X6 is on MSI's part but I have to say if they come through with a BIOS for it this(I'm not holding my breath cause my X4 is aging gracefully being I've had the CPU since Feb 09 and started off with a 9850 Black edition in the board). I've had the board since September 08. Heh, the video cards I had in it before aged really gracefully come to mention it. They were the Asus 9800GT 512MB Ultimate(8800GTS 512 factory OC'd like a Mofo) and really held their own against the new cards when they were GTX 465. I'm still really debating if I should put them in my secondary PC cause they really were powerful for their time and are a really nice boost over the 8800GT SLI that is in it. But I think I'd rather sell em cause I can get a pretty nice chunk of change for them being they're pretty rare.

Lol almost exactly the same here. Got my Gigabyte board in Sept 2008 with a 9850 BE...and upgraded to a X6 1055T when it came out. Thankfully Gigabyte updated the board.
