Yeah, your 4.6ghz 2600k might boost your score a bit.
Impressive though. Looks similar to a GTX570. Although they should've used 11.
X11541 3DMark Vantage Extreme preset
6950 unlcocked 900/1350(I use 1350 to be safe ) - 280$~ expect it to be priced accordingly I guess.
This puts the gtx560 @1000 core at 6970 levels?holy crap
The GTX 460 could be OC'd to outperform the GTX 470. Did that make the GTX 470 a filler card? The GTX 570 can be OC'd to outperform the GTX 580, does that make GTX 580 a filler card? The point is that's a heavily OC'd card being benched against a card running at stock, we can't just assume the other cards can't OC when we know in fact they can. After seeing these benches it makes me feel like the 570 is a filler card
Damnnn, that's overall score right? I assume the Sandy Bridge helps you out. I am going to go for 1000 core once my Thermalright Shaman comes in .
The 6970 2 GB needs to come down to 349, then it's a wash between the GTX 570 and the AMD 6970 2 GB- basically down to color/team preference. I think the 6950 is well priced considering 90%+ unlock so far into a 6970.To me it looks like NV has got back on track.
For AMD parts to compete they should be selling at lower prices.
Cayman is about the same size as the 560, correct? The prices should be lowered IMO. The 6990 will knock off the 570/580 combo as far as price/performance goes. But the 560 is priced in such a way as to make the 6970/6950 not look very attractive if these benches are true.
Something like
6970 2GB : $330
6970 1GB : $300
6950 2GB : $270
6950 1GB : $240
the 6pin and 8pin connectors don't look awesome though...The white PCB on that galaxy 560 looks AWESOME
the 6pin and 8pin connectors don't look awesome though...
Just means more overclocking headroom
the 6pin and 8pin connectors don't look awesome though...
exactly because even the gtx570 only has 2 6pins.It need more power than a 570 to overclock?
This puts the gtx560 @1000 core at 6970 levels?holy crap
Like a 6970 or a gtx570 can't overclock
Yeah but you can't buy a hd6970 or gtx570 for ~$250.
But you can get a 6950 for $270-280. Which probably what overclocked 560 will cost. Thats why I think its a better comparison.
