GTX 570 Running in SLI?

im building a gaming computer and have originally came up with this setup.
intel i5 2500k 6m cache 3.3 ghz
gigabyte ga-z68p p53 lga 1155 intel z68 hdmi sata 6 gb/s atx intel motherboard.
8gb in 4gb dimms at 1333mhz.
radeon hd 6950 (hd695xzndc) 1024mb cache
samsung spinpoint f3 1 tb 7200rp sata 3.0 gb/s
okextor 22x dvd rw ls
antec neo eco 620c 620w continous power atx 12.v 2.3 eps 12v 80 plus certified active pfc power supply

but i would rather have to graphics cards, would it be smart to change to dual gtx 570 runing in sli ?

Two 570s in SLI is a monster setup, that will last a very long time. I would probably go with a 750w PSU for that, however.

what about two 560 in sli how much of a difference in quality and preformance would there be?

The dual 570 will be faster than a single 6950. They will also be more than twice as expensive. I'm not sure why you are comparing them?

Are you running high resolution enough to see the difference? If you go with 2x570 you'll need a heftier PSU.

Personally, I'd go with 6950 2GB Crossfire instead of either GTX 570 SLI or single/dual 6950 1GB.

Although, it's probably not really worth it to drop $600 on the current generation with next gen looming around the corner in 2 to 4 months.

I would do crossfire 6950's before 570's.
