Not a bad card, but nearly 6.5 months since 7950 launched and yet it just matches its performance at 800mhz. AnandTech's review goes easy on modern cards though, no Ultra setting on Shogun 2 at 1080P, just 4AA in Batman AC, no SSAA or high level mods for Skyrim + 8AA. No wonder this card flies through the test.
Put the modern cards to more stress and you start to see the separation far more clearly. The ROP and memory bandwidth bottlenecks are revealed fast. Skyrim with mods at 1080P + 8AA and a stock 7950 beats the 660Ti
by 24%.
Expand the test to include 15 games, and the overall the performance is just
1% faster at 1080P 8AA than a 7870 and
tied with a stock 7950 at 1080P 4AA, actually loses to 7950 by 5% with 8AA:

It'll be a good card for people who don't overclock or care more about performance/watt, or want specific NV features. The enthusiast choice imo continues to be an overclocked 7950. Actually based on the benchmarks, it won't even be close once 7950 reaches 1.1ghz, esp. for someone who likes traditional MSAA.
It's good to see NV finally enter the sub $400 market, at least giving 7870/7950 more competition and bringing prices lower for cards overall.
For 1080P with BL2, it's a great deal for the non-overclocking crowd.
Plus, the consensus seems to be that two-way scaling is excellent. I'll probably pick up two of these to run 2560x1440 with no issues.
Sure it'll be fast but compared to 2x HD7950 CF it'll be destroyed at this rez.
Let's see a review with 15 games and pushing the cards to the limit with mods and high AA, not FXAA and High settings on Shogun 2 to preserve GTX570's performance with its 1.28GB of VRAM.
What happens is eye-popping:
GTX660Ti SLI is only 6% faster than a 1050mhz HD7970 at 2560x1600! That really shows this card is good for 1080P but not much more. 2 of these in SLI won't even beat a 1.2ghz HD7970 and compared to 2x HD7950 OCed they'll be crushed by 40% easily at 2560x1440.
Think about it, at 2560x1600 this card is already 7% slower than an 800mhz 7950. Put up 2x HD7950 @ 1.1ghz and it'll mop the floor with 2x overclocked GTX660Ti SLI at high rez.
