Clean up the cables a bit and put a fan on the back of that HDD bay to push air in between the cards.

You can use Zip ties if you have to.. Looks like the top card is chokeing for air.

The Airflow is fine and adding a 140mm fan isn't going to make a difference there. Even if you blow a fan on it you will still get the heat sucked in to card 1 because the PCB gets pretty hot at the back of the card.

The temps are actually not bad IMO, I've seen people reporting much worse.

It will help cool the pcb and push hot air towards the back. and help provide air to the top card.

I had a tight quad sli set up that was tight like yours and in doing so i seen afew c temp drop. 2-3c

It will take all but 10 mins to clean those wires up and zip tie a fan on the HDD bay ..

I really don't have anywhere to route the wires. Behind the motherboard tray is already bulging out the side panel.

When I made it with a CM Storm Scout (Not cable management friendly at all) and a Corsair TX 750 (Non Modular PSU) you should be able to hide your cables very easy

I hid most of my cables behind the HDD Cage.

Spread them out into a single layer. It takes time but the end result is much better.

Press tape/tip tie the ones for the MB to the back of the case.

Move the 6/8pins for your gpus to the side facing out of the case.

I'm trying to decide between the ASUS and the EVGAs myself. I like EVGA as a brand, but I hate the reference cooling. It might be better that it's getting pushed out of the case, but it's noisier.

Pretty much. Actually if I was buying new cards and couldn't decide I'd go for the MSI cards.

Keep in mind that the EVGA GTX 670 FTW is not a GTX 670 reference design, it's based on the GTX 680 PCB and cooler. The GTX 680 reference cooler is in another ballpark VS the GTX 670 reference cooler.

It is not possible on a mATX board with a Noctua D14 HSF. Here's a picture. I use DVI but did plug an HDMI cable in to try it out to my tv and it didn't have any issues.

Surely a Raven 02 or 03 would be better for this type of setup!

As I understand it, the non-top ASUS is exactly the same as the top, other than the top has binned GPUs? If I pull the trigger, its just easier to find the non-top at this point.

This is a tough call. The Evga cards look nice and their warranty service is supposedly top notch. I haven't heard the same thing about Asus. I might got Evga for that reason alone.

Yeah, that's my main concern, that I always hear good things about EVGA warranty and not good things about ASUS warranty. I just really hate that reference-ish fan design, and I don't want to spend more money putting on an aftermarket cooler like I have on my current EVGA card.

Also looked further on the board, so answered my question about non-top vs top. I'll probably just go with the ASUS, it's just sorta symmetry that my old system was EVGA mobo & GPU, and now this new system will be ASUS mobo & GPU(s).

So what's the best way to test these out, test them one at a time in the system, put them both in but just not SLI them yet, or go ahead and cable them up?

Actually, If you look closely, I have used Zipties to fasten the PCI-E power cables to the HDD cage. The reason for this is to straighten up the cards (Keep them from bending down due to their weight)

Appart from that reason, the holes in the HDD cage is not big (Or at least I dont think so. Haven't really checked) enough to pull the PCI-E Power cables through them. But as I've said, the way the cables are installed and fastened with zipties keeps the cards from hanging down due to their own weight

The Golden Man: VERY NICE rig. After I receive both EVGA GTX 670 FTWs I'll be running a similar rig in 1 below ( you have a 2600k and I only have a 2500k). I want the "horsepower" from the dual 670s in sli to run the 3 monitors in surround.:sneaky:

My skills are not yet complete for cable management <insert Darth Vader voice>. I tried again but still need to work at it from another way.

I have a problem with trying to get everything all set on the back side of the case. Once I get done with my cable management up front. I can't get the right panel to shut because its bulging with cables.
