GTX 950 vs HD7770

RX460 will be slower than GTX950.Like a good 20-25% slower.Don't understand why anyone would think otherwise.RX470 would be 20-25% faster faster but also cost more.So 950 will continue to retain its position although wouldn't recommend it due to 2gb vram.

Really well you're wrong then, the 460 will be 960 class or at least close to it when OCed. The 470 is likely ~380/x as 480 ~390/x level, there's no way the 460 gives less value than 480, it'll be similar to GTX 970<=>RX 480 therefore GTX 960<=>RX 460 essentially.

I think it will be closer than that, more like 970 vs 480 (but a little better for the NV side)

950 for the launch price was not amazing, but for $99 it's good.

Thanks for the advice. I been watching the GTX 950 for a while and never saw a GTX 950 card on sale for under $100. I didn't want to go to a GTX 750 as the price was almost the same for less performance. This is a good upgrade from my GTS 250 which now has some issues but was performing excellently in the past. I bought the GTS 250 for $119 less $40 rebate=$79 in Jan 2011. Thanks so much for the thumbs up for the GTX 950!
