GTX1070 2114/9500 vs GTX1080TI

So i upgraded from GTX1070 to 1080TI and as always i run some benchmarks to compare cards.

Test system:
6700k 4.5Ghz
16GB ram 3000mhz
Win10 64

Even a highly overclocked GTX 1080 can't compete against a stock 1080ti, at best it comes really close. So a GTX 1070 never had any change, even if you were able to OC it to 2200MHz it won't make any difference.

The difference between jumps is 25% to 30%, so from 1070 to 1080 25% to 30% more performance and from 1080 to 1080ti another 25% to 30%, so between the 1070 and 1080ti you are looking at a minimum of 50% gains, more often 60% gains.

The 1080Ti is a crazy card with a crazy price. It costs as much as decent gaming PC where I live, so I will leave the cheering on the side for now. I will cheer if the 2070 brings this kind of performance for 400 euros. (tip: not gonna happen with the existing competition, if you get my drift)

Well here in czech republic 1080Ti have best price/performance ratio of all cards.GTX1070 was crazy overpriced and cost as much as GTX1080.And 1080TI didnt cost me much more than new GTX1070 year ago(14000czk for GTX1070 and 21000czk for GTX1080TI and i sell my GTX1070 for 10000czk so 1080TI cost me only 11000czk)

Other than that i must say i really love GTX1080TI.I really didnt like GTX1070 from first day because that card never feel like High-end card for me.It was just overpriced small pascall.Nvidia using small x04 SKU for making money and also cutdown x70 cards more and more.ANd then they release TI card whitch is best card in whole generation for decent money(980TI,1080TI)
GTX1080TI is just soooooooooo much better.Barely cutdown vs full GP102(9% sp and 9% memory bandwidth vs 33% SP and 25% memory bandwidth on GTX1070 vs GTX1080)It is most of the time 60-70% faster than GTX1070 2114/9500 whitch is crazy.Its bigger jump than from GTX970 to GTX1070.
So yeah GTX1080TI feel like real high-end for me.I will never buy x04 SKu again because its not worth it.
I also have great results undervolting GTX1080TI.When undervolted to 150w its still 30-40% faster than GTX1070 2114/9500(whitch eats around 200w lol )
Just crazy good card.

Vega cost here almost same as GTX1080TI + only reference crap cards + we didint have single card untill today in czech republic.

~60% more performance for ~60% more money. In reality, absolutely fair. When taking into account the lack of competition from AMD at this performance level, you've got to give credit where it's due. In all fairness to NVIDIA, despite the entire product stack being expensive, they could easily charge more a lot more for the 1080Ti as it is the best of the best. Remind me again why anyone buys the Titan?

I will add undervolted test later.GTX1080TI undervolted at 150w is crazy good.Still 30-40% faster than GTX2114/9500 and eats 50w les than that GTX1070!

Here is test with GTX1070 max oc(200w) vs undervolted 1080TI at 150w.This shows how much is 1080TI faster in %
I think 1080Ti 150w is around GTX1080 at 2200/12000 performance.
