GTX460 1gb - MSI/EVGA deals

Hey Guys,

I'm going to buy a GTX460 1gb card this month. I've been looking at the MSI and EVGA cards at Newegg. I can get the MSI with Hawx 2 at Newegg for $175 or I can get the EVGA card for $165.99 through my work. Am I likely to see a better deal before the end of the month?

Any input would be appreciated.

on Black Friday you might. but who knows. however, between the two I'd go w/ MSI cyclon that cooler is incredible!

I would also go with the MSI Cyclone for that nice cooler.

Also, the MSI has a 3 year warranty & the eVGA has only 2 years.

MSI dissed me $20 on my last rebate. They're on my "no buy" list, but I'm sure other people have had good luck with them.

I dig my cyclone, Got my rebate from them with no problems. Its currently running at 850Mhz with no issues at stock volts. Temps and noise levels are both low.

I jumped on the MSI Cyclone. Noise is important to me and it was one of the quietest cards available. The ECS black edition was also pretty tempting, but the fact that it took up 3 slots was a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, still waiting for mine when I got my GTX 460 Cyclone. Doubt it will be coming.

If you did not get your rebate and bought from newegg, write them as they already know about MSI.

But the GTX460 was a little cheaper last week (newegg coupon). They might come down another 10-20 as someone said. So if you can wait you might save more.
