If eVGA ever went "Red" nV would shit a brick.
Why do you say this?

Fuad claiming that board partners are receiving 1/4 as many cards as they pre-sold to distributors.

I think it's now safe to call this a paper launch whether it really took place on the 26th of March or 12th of April.
I had at least 10 chances to buy 470's and 480's. They are there if you want them. TigerDirect got some in at midnight last night. They seem as easy to get as the 5800's were at launch, if not easier.
At MSRP, or at inflated prices?
Arent the 5800s still above MSRP?
How are you finding out how many cards Newegg has? That isn't listed information AFAIK.Back in stock at newegg, and they are starting to gouge.

They have 35 MSI 470s
4 eVGA 470s
3 Palit 470s
3 Zotac 470s
No 480s yet.

And ZZF has 480s in stock, but of course you're going to pay $50-$100 more.
You add them to your cart and put in a crazy number for quantity, like 100. Then it automatically corrects the number as per stock.

Quick show of hands, who doesn't want to know how many cards are in stock? Why are you asking why I am doing this?

*looks around the room*
That's what I thought.
At any rate, it's a very crafty method of trying to figure out how many cards Newegg has, Keys. I wish I would have thought of it first. PC Surgeon is probably right though in that with Newegg's per-customer limits that it may not be accurate.
I did the same thing with the radeons when they came out.Look at his sig for the answer... Apparently i'm not allowed to point these things out specifically.
