Well I snagged the MSI 780 off of TigerDirect, because I had a price-match credit that made it the cheapest, and also got next-day shipping for 19 dollars. Can't wait to see how this stacks up against the Titan I had. I'll probably cap the TDP at 300w in the vbios before I even do anything else. I have a feeling it will be able to hit close to 1300mhz.

I got one too. Paid $21 for overnight :\

These things are shipping from CA, I should have known they were shipping FedEx... 2 day would have delivered on Saturday via Free 2 day from Shoprunner.

lol two locked voltage cards and one of the worst coolers on the market "logic"!

I wonder how those compare to a 300w vbios 780, probably unfavorably to the tune of 45-50%...

At least with the 780 we didn't have to hear about the amazing monstrosity that is crossfirex.

If AMD doesn't fix Crossfire by the time I get Haswell, getting a 780 isn't out of the question.

All those complaining about Nvidias high pricing should be thanking their lucky stars. This means people will still buy AMD cards.

Personally, I'd take AMD's products over Nvidia's if not for it having substantially less AA modes.

lol @ 650$ price tag.

I believe pricing should be 500$ for high end, 400$ for mid tier (470/570/670), and 300$ for low end (460/560TI/660Ti)

Mine's shipping UPS. I think they have a location in Dallas, and I live about 2 hours away, I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Making people think a $650 780 GTX is good value because Titan is $1000 is Nvidia marketing at its best.

There is no way people would accept the price of the 780 GTX without the Titan.

Consumers generally fail to see through this.

What a load of rubbish, how did the people who bought Titan @ 1K, accept the price then?

However, I will say, the 7970Ghz really is stretching its legs the last round of drivers, it seems to get better and better. Too bad they havent sorted their CF issues after 18mths of release.

lol..nice car, hope he enjoys it. If I ever start a company worth billions I'll buy a few of those too. How many of you with EVGA 680s are going the step-up route? Good deal for those that are! I'm hoping for a Titan Ultra with 1 more SMX so I can step up!

This is me. Was late to the 680 party since I had fallen out of gaming. Bought one less than 3 months ago. So, just stepped up to a 780 for about $160. I'll take it.

The higher you go in performance, the greater the diminishing returns in value. Thats the way it works for many products. Kick ass card for high res gaming. I foresee a wave of 7970 owners ditching their cards for this.

Why? If anything, this makes me want to get a second 7970. Less cost for better performance.

Better than titan but still a really bad buy. It's 6 months until the true next gen cards. This really should be $400 to get people to bite. Anyone who spends $650 for the second fastest card and 6 months from the next gen cards needs their heads checked.

After all that hype its only a bit faster than 7970GE,costs way more and gets destroyed in compute performance by a card released early last year.
WTF?
Looks like FAIL to me...:\

Yeah William, it's a total failure. And selling out most likely. Total clusterf*** for reelz.

What you believe doesn't matter. There are cards at every price bracket. Nothing competes with this so it kind of deserves it's own spot

I agree. If AMD would be so kind as to come out with a competitor that is cheaper, I wouldn't be mad at em and neither would consumers.
