Very few of those features have the slightest impact on gaming, yet you're using gaming as your primary benchmark comparison. Do you not know what you're talking about or are you purposefully being dishonest to try to justify the Titan. Which is it?
You're basing an argument on an arbitrary cutoff by hardocp when in reality the difference between the cards was still only 10%. There are already models of the GTX 780 that are guaranteed to be faster than the Titan: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/GTX_780_SC_ACX_Cooler/26.html . You're desperately hoping you can overclock a Titan to keep up.
This has nothing to do about AMD, go sulk somewhere else and stop derailing the thread.
The SMX's is what makes the differnece between Advanced Physx vs Normal PhysX in Metro Last Light...already there is a diffrence in the gameplay experience...but I guess that is s a "nonargument" too?
The SMX's make the difference between 45FPS and 41FPS. If you, like most people, consider a game equally as playable at 45FPS as 41FPS, then it makes no real difference to you.
And shader count is only one component of performance. But thanks for answering my question, you simply don't understand how hardware works so no one should bother listening to you in the first place. The SMX's is what makes the differnece between Advanced Physx vs Normal PhysX in Metro Last Light...already there is a diffrence in the gameplay experience...but I guess that is s a "nonargument" too?
I trust HardOCP's FPS "feel" as it match my own very closely.
You keep pretending there is no difference...but don't expect anyone to take you seriously.
But did you just admit to that the GTX780 has lesser performance than the Titan...aka my point the whole time?

This is the kind of population nvidia is going for: too ignorant to understand hardware and would shell out money for performance instead, impressing maybe the few people that are just as ignorant as they.
Yes, the 780 absolutely has lesser performance than the Titan. My point, however, is that performance increase is so miniscule that only a complete fool could be mislead to spend $350 more for a <10% increase in performance.
Why should I pay less for less when I have the money?
Damn Titan has made a lot of "the grapes are sour"-posters come out.
To bad for them no one is forcing them to buy a Titan...making their whines noisy, but irrelevant (people whing over the price are below the customer segment anyways)...but the whine of delicious tears is making me smile.
People whining over what other people pay for top performance is as old as hardware itself.
You made it personal, I pointed out the truth in it. For the last page you keeping talking about yourself and your Titan:You keep telling yourself that...I take it that it means:
More shaders has no impact on gaming.
More textures units has no impact on gaming.
And then I can dismiss you as a noisy troll.
Could you go more personal...I love your little hissy fit...keep going
The $1360 the Titan cost me was money I had...free to spend.
No debt, worked all my life...I will call myself more than "financially responsible" and sitting on a large bank account...can we drop the fallacies?
(PS: Yes I find it funny to see US posters whine about the price...when they get the hardware cheaper than me)
Sucks that someone called you out on your nonsense, right? The Titan is slightly faster than the GTX 780 as pointed out by almost every review site. You're still here trying to justify the Titan, ineffectively, as a good gaming card purchase. No one is impressed by the money you wasted. I'm not sure who you're trying to fool or convince beyond yourself, which you should be doing in private and not wasting forum space. You "think" you would be,...vs I own a Titan and I am not pissed.
You like those odds?
No I post here, because people like you pretend to either talk for me...or proclaim to know how I feel.
Why are you so mad?
I don't think anyone is mad, just annoyed about your need to defend your purchase and derail the thread.
Titan is built for multi monitor gaming, the 6 gb vram is testament to that.IIRC Titan allowed to have better IQ compared to 780 according to [H]. Titan is piss poor value but it's strengths can't be denied.
Titan was an overpriced, meh product. No one with a properly running brain should but it nowdays, it was just an NV customer-rape product.
Hmmmmmmm:No I post here, because people like you pretend to either talk for me...or proclaim to know how I feel.
Why are you so mad?
Who's mad again? Because it looks you're the one throwing the temper tantrum because people see through your parading and egotistical nonsense. Why should I pay less for less when I have the money?

And DP performance affects gaming how? Because so far you've gone on and on about how Titan is giving you a better gaming experience, which is clearly negligible given any overclocking. So I should go 1/24th DP because you think I need to pay +$3000 for 1/3 DP and not $999?
Brilliant argument!!!
