I really like how Linus is doing reviews these days on GPUs. More oriented towards enthusiasts who do overclock their cards and don't pass up the free performance.

Not the most detailed results given with the graphs though and that could be improved if they would add in min/avg/max.
Looks like a pretty good card and I love the price it comes in at.
Well done NVDA.
I hope AMD can match pricing with the HD7950.
The 7950 overclocked to 1100/1575 is stomping all over this GTX 760 in this video. The problem is I don't know what clocks the GTX 760 is running to compare.
Oh damn, AMD is screwed, their card costs a whole $20 more with 3 extra games... shucks, they're doomed.
"Meh"
Uses more power than the 670 while being slower, the only good thing is the price tag which isn't even that good.
MSI TF 670 is $345 with a rebate.
MSI Gaming 760 is $260 without a rebate.
Performance difference between them is maybe 5-7%.
This is a huge card for the price segment. It's what the 660Ti should have been. This card has just destroyed 660Tis/670s resale values. In other words, a perfectly executed refresh.
Imo this card will drop prices on 7950/7970/7970GE more than any other card from NV. GTX770 was too overpriced for AMD to make any movements other than small price drops but this card effectively means AMD has to drop prices on their 7900 cards (which of course means I think 770/780/Titan are horribly overpriced now that the 760 is out).
Balla, you seem to have lost track of price/performance this generation. This little $259 after-market 760 card is just 10-15% behind $499 GTX680 from last year and is not much slower than $350-450 HD7970GEs/770s.
You are effectively getting 90% of the performance of the 680 for half the price. That would be similar if in 15-16 months a $325 card gave 90% of the performance of the GTX780. That would be very good.
That's a silly comparison. The 7950 is 15% more money for about the same 15% more performance. At 1100, it's about a 10% OCV for the 7950. The 760 will be able to OC as well.
So, Nvidia has successfully made a card that is better than their old ones (thank god), but still is more or less tying AMD? Yes, OC'd cards from the factory will give better perf/$ than higher model cards, but that doesn't change the fact this 760 is Nvidia starting to compete with the 7950, not blowing it out of the water by any means.

770 Should have been this card with nVidia using a 40 ROP GK110 for the 770 instead, 28nm continues to deliver failure after failure.

@RS
GK110 is out, there is no excuse for such a cut chip at the $250 price bracket, ironically the 680 you're comparing it to is a $250-$300 chip.
Prices are all jacked up, so are deep cuts to mid-range dies for mid-range products.
Drop the 780 to $550, make a 40 ROP GK110 for $370, now GK104 slots in perfectly at 150w TDP, better perf/w, some actual overclocking headroom, and a $250-$300 price.
But that's me
All this AMD vs Nvidia talk is pretty pointless. The GTX 760 is very deliberately designed to slot into a particular price and performance bracket, as is the Radeon 7950. It's no coincidence that supposedly "competing" cards end up being so similar at any price. Southern Islands and Keplar have been around for ages, so it's very easy for each company to predict what the other might do, and only do just enough to counter the threat.
Obviously, either company could at any time take a higher-end, less cut down chip and position it in the $250 bracket, but why would they want to? It might boost sales temporarily, but it would only start a price war and impact their ability to keep selling defective chips at high prices. It's essentially a truce, as both would lose if a war was to break out. If you were more cynical, you might call it price fixing.
At an avg of 50 bucks less. AMD will have to price match the 7950 down to 249 to compete with this card. Right now most of the 7950s are still in the 300 range on newegg.
