you really should enable it, it makes it noticeable difference in immersion/streamlining

mainly in FPS games and driving games

Thanks, I'll have to give it a shot.

A question for you other eyefinity users, do you have problems with your monitors forgetting their position and have to re-arrange them? It seems mine forget their position quite often..

No, when is it forgetting the positions? If it forgets the position when you hotkey between extended desktop and Eyefinity mode just hit the hotkey a second time and it will finish rearranging the monitors.

If you're losing position between boots not sure what's up, but you could try saving a profile of it when it's correct then assign a hotkey to it and use it whenever it's out of order.

It's awesome with racing games. The feeling of speed is much more immersive as you see the scenery pass you by at the sides.

my wife almost immediately barfed, but I almost barfed out of pure joy

Really loving Just Cause 2 w/ 3 17'' 1280x1024 monitors. It's ridiculous.

Also played some GTAIV and Mount and blade (FOV messed upthere though)

anything else just a BLAST ? I'm also doing GRID2 which is amazing

Anyway, not much around here about people utilizing this, but I'm totally impressed.

opinions, thoughts?

it is really incredibly immersive

Was doing Eyefinity with 3- 24" Samsungs off an XFX HD5870 for awhile.

Then started reading up on 3D so I switched over to 2- gtx480's in sli and 3- 24" Acer's.

Bad Company 2, in 3D, was just amazing to me.

After awhile I wanted to go bigger but I couldn't find any monitor over 24" that was Nvidia 3D approved. Right now I just using a 30" Dell u3011 and I absolutely love it, though I do miss the surround. I'm simply holding out for larger monitors to be released.

I was reading that Acer is to release a 27" 3D-ready any time now.

As for those who think the bezels (boarder around monitor) would be a problem; I was in the same boat for quite awhile. Just looking at pictures, or even videos, of people using multi monitor setups doesn't justify the experience. I thought those bezels would be way too distracting. But then I finally bit the bullet and ordered the hardware.

Once you're actually gaming you don't even notice the bezels. You still mainly focus on the middle monitor and you use your peripheral vision to cover the side monitors. Then when something catches your eye you glance over. I can't tell you how many times I caught someone trying to flank me or sneak in for my dog tags in BC2.

ugh, too much gap between the screens. Hurts just to watch it

That's everyone's reaction to watching a video of it, or even standing in the same room and looking at it. It's much much different once you're sitting there in front of it. Your focus is on the primary monitor so you don't notice the gaps on your peripheral.

On a single monitor those 'gaps' lead to the wall, and that doesn't bother you..

Good point. If I can just talk my wife into letting me get some extra monitors now...
