i do disagree with whoever said 5 yrolds do not have a curiosity. i think just the opposite! at that age they understand that a boys body and a girls body are different. they want to see how and why.

Oh he knew what he was doing, no doubt. He fessed up to the Principal immediately. And yes two 5 yr olds may be curious, but they dont turly understand what they are doing. They don't know what its for (I HOPE!) But if your 17 and do not realize what you are doing ... well no, every 17 yr old knows what the heck they are doing when it comes to sexual areas.

This happens all to often and not usualy be a religous group. But anyway, this guy was just a student there. He was not a Staff member and did not work for the church. This could have happened (like this) and just about any private school in America, regardless of it was a religious school or not.

No one in religion is better than anyone else. We are all the same in the eyes of God. Each person has the ultimate responsibility for his actions. Just because this young man took the wrong path doesn't mean that it was his religions fault. Trust me, I've attended service at that church, and that is NOT something that they approve of.

I personally know of a case of 2 boys (14 and 15 year old) who sodomized a 7 year old cousin.

It is sometimes hard to imagine how kids are even capable of doing such things but it happens.

Its a F_ _cked up world we live in.

Yeah, but if he was one year older then he obviously had complete understanding on what he was doing. IMO any child molesters - 17 or 70 - should be tortured and shot.
