Multi-Effect Pedal: DOD VS50

Planning To Get:

Ibanez RG 570or
Gibson SG Standard (When I Have The Money)

I have a blac Fender Spuire Strat. My petals are: Dunlap Wah-Wah, DigiTech Wammy II, Boss distortion DS-1, Boss Super Overdrive SD-1, Boss Digital Delay DD-3 and an Ibanez Phazer. I also have a Peavey Foundation bass and a fretless, but I forgot who made the fretless. I also don't know my amp, but it sounds good to me.

I have Gibson Les Paul Standard in wine red with cream binding and gold hardware. 490/498 humbuckers with single coil tap mod (push/pull pot on bridge tone control)

Running that through a Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 50 watt tube 1x12 combo amp.

Taylor 310CE acoustic with Fishman Prefix.

No effects. Dont need em with a great axe and a schweeeeet Mesa to voice it!

I have a 2000 PRS Custom 22 into a Line 6 2x12 100watt amp. I cant remember the amps name right this second though. My secondary guitar is an old beater Gibson SG which I put some Seymour Duncan Seth Lover pickups in. I think I almost like that guitar more than the PRS.

What exactly is the difference betweeh this Squier strat and others? I saw some at a local music store for like $280 USD or something around that, and am wondering if it's a good one or not. (/me definitely needs an upgrade from his crappy acoustic).

$280 seems kind of high for a Standard Squier (unless it was made in Japan in the 80's). I paid $150 for one made in '99, plus about $30 extra for new pots/wiring/copper tape. I think the newer ones ('01 and '02) are about as good as the Mexican-made Fenders, you can find them at larger music stores (or online for) $220-230.

ibanez cheap ass guitar with a wanna be floyd rose that i took the springs out of and shoved a block in to neuter it (i dont whammy)

took all the paint off cus it was ugly (not like it isnt now, but looks better than sparkly green), took out pickups and put in a single EMG 81 at the bridge (that pickup breathes FIRE!!!!!)

a marshall VS100R 1x12" 100W valvestate amp with a celestion goldback, i actually use to have a peavy 4X12 cab that had sheffield speakers that i liked alot better, they were much more crisp and mean than the goldback which is a bit warmer and "rounder" sounding (dont like that myself)
