I gotta get used to the extra recoil, but its not to horrible. I was mostly off yesterday from not shooting in about 6 weeks. I typically go every 2 weeks to stay fresh.

I shot the XD45 with no gloves, and then my glock 19 (9mm) with gloves on and it felt like I was shooting a BB gun.

The only thing that I dont like right now is that the takedown lever on the left side rubs against my left thumb. I have to modify my grip a little or wear gloves. But I'll get used to it. A lower thumb didn't affect my accuracy.

Here is my next addition, classified as A.O.W. (Any Other Weapon) looks like a simple $5.00 Fed stamp is all that is needed, still investigating the details right now.......

Noticed you were from Tennesee, do you ever come to NC for shooting events/shows, etc.?

EDIT: I haven't been on that forum for awhile, I didn't know SA had the XD in .45ACP now! :Q Dangit, I'm going to have to get one now. There goes another 500 bucks on gun junk. When I first seen your OP I saw XD and 45 but I didn't catch the ACP part, I was assuming it was a .45GAP

I got the ACP model. And I dont really leave the state much. Getting time off is all but impossible for me. My dad lives in teh research triangle area though.

I'm not preparing for anything. I enjoy collecting and shooting firearms. Simple as that. Its fun to shoot. Go figure.

Sure I keep a handgun nearby just in case, but I'm not exactly worried about anything. I'd rather have and not need instead of need and not have.

Besides, I am a soldier, and an MP at that. Firearms are part of my daily life. Some extra trigger time never hurts.

Nice XD you got there, and M4 . I've got a hogue grip on mine as well, and I just added a floating forearm.

I was looking at ACP's for a while, and almost got the XD, but I'm a huge Glock fan. I ended up going with the Glock 27, the GAP is a pretty nice round. Oddly enough I hold a tighter grouping with it than my Glock 22.

Yeah, I just saw all the info about the Sig last night. Pretty cool I guess. Still not in the top 10 on my buy list.

That class looks miserable. Good training though. Rain doesn't keep away bad guys. No matter how much I see that firing position trained, I still hate it.

Btw Brad, you dont HAVE to clean a Glock You just do out of habbit.

Actually I am waiting for FN to offer the civilian version of the SCAR-L and SCAR-H... I would also be interested in FN's FS2000, but would like to handle one first. I don't have much experience with bullpups, other than handling an AUG...

Is DSA going to offer an FNC or just a scaled down version of the FAL? I at one time had a preban FNC, but never shot it. I think the SCAR-L is an improvement on the FNC, if thats what DSA intends to bring to market.
