Not that I noticed. I only shot 100 rounds today. Btw, its a damn magazine! Clips are for sks's and garands.

Damn your army training! Leave us civies alone!

I only ask because one of my buddies owns an XD that shoots wild with the first round out of the MAGAZINE. We aren't entirely sure why though...

As a cop you shouldn't be supporting people owning so many guns.

WTH?

I own an AK-47 actually, and it had nothing to do with Counter-strike. Some of us actually research weapons and know a bit about them...

as a cop I thought you would understand the evils of such weapons.

No, I am not confused. Weapons like the AK-47 lead to only killing and suffering. Such weapons bring evil into the world.

Weapons aren't evil, they're inanimate objects. The people who use them can be evil though.

Anyway... that's a nice collection. My uncle has a pretty big collection as well... you'd think he's borderline nutcase though as he keeps a gun of some type in every room of the house near where people are usually sitting. I've always wanted to learn to shoot as more of a hobby than anything else but don't know anyone who does and don't know how else to start.

I just got the Sig P239 last week and the Springfield 1911 last month, I just threw in the CZ because I think it's looks nice. The Benchmades are my 2 newest members of my knife collection.

Yes he has, I find him quite humorous in a naive sort of way.

It isn't naive to want to get rid of a weapon that has caused more deaths than any disease.

By sum of numbers? Maybe, but by percentage I think the Black Plague took out a higher percentage of the worlds population than any war, or gun has.

I have been on the hunt for a good weapon in the 500 dollar range. I havent fired a weapon since i was in the army. I was either thinking a handgun or a bolt action rifle.

DVK916, your perceptions about evil and what brings evil into this world are very very wrong. I invite you to come to where I work. You will see that evil does not exist in any form of inanimate object, but in people themselves. I've met a guy who sufficated his mother with a pillow, then cut her head off. I've met countless rapists (mind you, not "I had sex with a 17 year old" more like "I raped and beat a child that was 8.") There is a guy in there who killed his entire family over 80k. The most recent addition is a man who raped a woman who cannot fight back, who has now given birth to a child she cannot care for because of the rape. (The woman is fully paralized and mentally handicapped.) I've been yelled at and spit on by someone who has no regard for human life, and threatened by countless others because of what I do. And I have only been on the job for 3 weeks. Don't talk to me about what is evil and what is not when you have yet to even witness evil. You haven't talked to those who do evil things. You cannot fathom what it is to meet these people and still be able to treat them with some sort of respect because if you do not, it's your job. I am sure others have seen much worse than me, but to try to tell me what is evil and what is not is completely aggrogant.

EDIT: There is a reason I do not post about my experiences on these boards, and that is because very few people can fully understand my perspective. I deal with those society does not want to deal with. In my VERY VERY limited experience, evil is born of humans, not of machine or device. Humans alone hold the capacity for evil.

I would say glock or springfield for a handgun in that range. BUT, I would actually be pretty interested in a bolt action rifle. An interesting choice...now you have me thinking of buying one. Bastard!

EDIT: Try looking at a mauser for a bolt action. Not sure about their price, but I hear they are EXTREMELY accurate.

Actually, he carries an AK74SU. Completely different weapon.

nice m4 looks like tactical grip and stock right?

Hogue Grip, and 6 position stock. Somehow the stock and the bayonet lug made it more dangerous during the Assault weapon ban.

And as far as a decent sub $500 gun, get an XD or Glock for a semi.

And lastly, its not a scout. Its a .22 with a $40 scope rofl. But yer right, I do plan my purchases based off of counterstrike.

.22 are great it's just one of those guns that is just fun to shoot if you get a real nice one that is accurate that is real target practice. I have an old .22 that is my dad's you drop the bullets down this thing and than semi-auto though i ended up going crazy on it. What you need to do is shoot some cactus that was the coolest thing i ever shot in my life. I am not sure what kind of rifle my dad has or the bullet size but i layed down and kept the gun real steady and shot at a cactus really far away for a good 10min after i was done you could see that the front of the cactus had some holes but the back is where the real damage was.

btw is that a glock 23?

my glock airsoft gun :-D
