I live in a neighborhood that has probably a half dozen or more churches, a small fundamentalist Christian sect, a Sikh temple and a mosque within walking distance of where I live. Funny thing is that they all seem to get along just fine.
As for me, I don't happen to believe in any gods but certainly have no problems with any of my neighbors that do, even the Muslim ones and am perfectly happy to be their neighbor. In fact, that's kinda the way I see my country and what it represents/means to me and, I think, most Canadians. That being, a bunch of folks with different backgrounds, different visions about how they want to live their lives, different belief systems all just trying to get by and live their lives along with their neighbors.

Not sure if an honor guard, or even a sentry has a LOADED weapon, or even ammo on him???????Because the soldier was armed with a C-4 assault rifle when he was killed, dummy. Usually when you say someone we've killed overseas is an "innocent civilian" they aren't found holding an assault rifle.

The soldiers who were guarding the National War Memorial are part of a ceremonial guard, and full-time and part-time soldiers are rotated through duty on an hourly or bi-hourly basis. They carry rifles that aren't loaded.
The M4 equivalent is a C8. The M16 equivalent is a C7.
