No, I don't spend money on benchmarks with a game slapped on top of it as an afterthought, and 35 fps are unacceptable, RTS or not.
It must be hard fighting the future...

Good thing AOTS isn't the future of gaming, but only a little AMD-sponsored tech demo that almost nobody is paying attention to.
What's your motivation for continuing this charade?
can you elaborate as to how a dx12 game is amd sponsored? does it have any secret closed down software on it?Good thing AOTS isn't the future of gaming, but only a little AMD-sponsored tech demo that almost nobody is paying attention to.
Pardon me? If this is meant as a personal attack, I'd be inclined to report you.

Don't they?Did you post the wrong chart?
Those 960 and 970 models dont seem to be supporting your narrative.
I was quoting mahigan...What? I dont recall having that argument before. Multithreading unnecessary for 8 thread CPU but a huge deal for something with 2 threads?! Please go on, would like to know the thought process behind that
I was quoting mahigan...
But what didn't you understand?
I7 has much faster single speed so it can run the dx11 driver thread much faster/fast enough, the celeron needs dx12 to do it.
You said the multi-threading is unnecessary on the i7. Are you sure that's what you meant? The celeron obviously improves because more cores can be utilized versus not, but the i7 can also have more of its cores can be utilized versus idle. I'm not sure how that can be unnecessary?
Because there currently is no GPU that would demand this.
Even the fastest GPU gets what, 50 FPS? A high Ghz current intel core can drive that in dx11.

that is the most odd thing someone ever said on pc master race world...
i guess then this guy got it all wrong..

Wait did you just make a case for staying in a single threaded world????
no what he said and you "by accident" let it off isDoes this guy show benchmark results?
Did he run the CPU only version?
How much of this is thread hopping?
He says himself "but I eliminated the HT since it made the chart look REALLY crazy"
Someone show us a pic with process hacker/explorer showing actual threads while actually testing a top GPU.
In theoretical scenarios sure you can make whatever CPU run all it's cores...

My chart showed all 12 logical cores, but I eliminated the HT since it made the chart look REALLY crazy.
so if we dont need a clear cut multithread workload spreaded across all the cores then what the hek we need? And as I said, you can't tell how many of those are duplicates, because windows juggles threads between cores, by looking at task manager.
Also 20-30% on all cores is not really what we are looking for, this alone shows that you need a lot less cores.
I don't even understand what you are trying to say...so if we dont need a clear cut multithread workload spreaded across all the cores then what the hek we need?
i dont know what you are trying to achieve by keep saying things like that but obviously if you are trying to make a case that a dual core is as a i7 deca core then i dont know you are trying way too hard harder than some other guys here D:
