He drove it to work today and managed to back it in his usual parking spot. It sticks out about 3 ft beyond the curb though.

He's actually a really nice guy. He has a 14,000lb custom 5th wheel trailer and the F350 he had before really wasn't big enough to tow it safely.

It is not his daily driver.

Most likely the brakes are air assisted vs. air, meaning you don't need a class A or B license to drive it.

In Oregon you need a commercial license for anything over 26,000 lbs unless you're a an emergency personnel driving an emergency vehicle such as a fire engine.

Well, he tried modifying his F350 to haul the trailer but it couldn't pull up the hills around here. He said it was kicking down to 1st gear on some hills which would burn out the transmission quickly. He had the trailer weighed and found out it is 18,000 lbs with a 5,000 lb tongue weight.

This thing will haul up to 28,000lbs.

Not sure. I'm guessing it's around $80,000 maybe more. Which really isn't too bad considering the towing capability of the thing.
