I guess you have never driven a real luxuary car or else you would know they're worth every penny. Go test drive a BMW M5 ($75000-$95000 car) and then a Ford Mustang GT ($20000-$25000 car) and then come back here and see if you're saying the same thing. I'm not trying to knock you, but some people just have the money to do $h)t like this...even though I don't agree with buying oversized monster hunks of metal to drive around in because you got a small penis...hehe jk

I can't say if the 5th wheel is good or bad....it may be necessary to be that big (as opposed to a real RV), towing race cars and stuff gets heavy.

however jesus...buy a freaking basic car to get around in. If I owned the lot and someone pulled this into a space I'd have to tow it, the guy in front probably can't back out now, the guys on the side either cannot even open their doors or they are already dinged and chances are sooner or later the guy behind is going to get tapped....not to mention now 2 way traffic has to yield to pass this thing + blindly go around it.....the guys parking beside this thing will have to back out blindly as well.

It's a slap in the face to the rest of society as a daily driver (I doubt it is though) and there are many that if slapped even virtually will be waiting with a nice piece of hickory.

He drove it in once!!! He has a Corvette Z06 as his daily driver.

Edit-it is parked in a private lot for the company. There is no 2 way traffic through there.

Sweet, you have to pull a big 5th wheeler with a 1 ton truck to really appreciate how much better/safer his new rig is.

My parents had a massive 5th wheeler & 1 ton dually Dodge 4 door, it was just flat dangerous.

However, after growing up camping like that, I much prefer the idea of a minivan & staying @ a motel when traveling.

If you look @ the $'s, it's more economical too.

IIRC that thing has like 180 horses and over 400 ft-lb of torque.

a truck that big sucks all the fun out of driving IMO.

I drive truck, and I would not go that route, but that is just me.

not sure that was english so maybe I am misunderstanding you...however, the reason many do the 5th wheel/RV thing is due to accommodations not being available where they go. It beats a tent.
