Wow bitter much? Actually, that's a bit incorrect, it's between the family. The family has rights to make decisions if the patient is comatose. Not an imaginary friend, but the collective group. If they can't come to a consensus, a court advisor is awarded.

exactly. you never hear about the billions of times someone woke up from a coma and it wasn't the perfect time or they were just about to wake up but they pulled the plug 5 minutes early.

just randomness being publicly recognized.

I would say confirmational bias at it's finest and most prominent. One of the keys to an accurate conclusion is to accept all evidence, not just pick and choose the right evidence that matches your preferred conclusion.
If your going to quote then use the full quote. Mine was referenced to the Terry Shivio case. Ya know the one where every right wing congressional fanatic said God told them to recall the goverment and order her plug to stay put. The quote was in refernce that Feds should mind their own business. Not to dictate their will on such a close and personal thing that have no idea about.

That's about what I want with me too.

Unless the doc's have a pretty good belief that I'm strong enough that at some point I'll probably wake up a few weeks down the road, I'm going to hope my family sees to it that they don't waste time and money on me. I don't want to be hooked up to a machine. If I cannot live by my own means, than as a living creature, I do not deserve to live. I'm not going to want medical bills to rack up to extremes just because my family has a distant hope that I'll wake up one day.

The family talked about having hope, but they decided to pull the plug only after 4 days.
It seems a bit premature to me. I think 2 weeks is minimum.

I dunno. If you don't wake up in the first few days, and if the doctors didn't have any kind of random knowledge or treatment technique, I think odds become pretty much the same as to whether you wake up the fourth day or wake up in the 4th year, or 10th year, or who knows when.

From what I have seen, it does seem the case that if you don't wake up pretty shortly after going into a coma, that your chances of waking up any given day are all the same.
We still don't quite understand comas, how to reverse them, or really anything about them.

That's why I'll probably put into my Will that if I don't wake up in the first week, maybe two weeks, then just pull the plug and see if my body violently awakens or I just slip away a week later.

I don't see how the additional quote adds any contextual information that somehow makes my argument a straw man or anything. I quoted what was necessary.

Your point specifically that
The quote was in refernce that Feds should mind their own business. Not to dictate their will on such a close and personal thing that have no idea about.
So you meant the following, with proper grammar:

I just said God. If a family or person wants to pull the plug, then that is between them and God, the fuckin goverment nor anyone else has a say in it.
My argument still stands - although a bit modified. God doesn't have a say here, because he's imaginary for one. The collective group of direct family members gets to decide what happens.
You said "Between them and God" which seems to indicate that a sort of ritual prayer (inducing imaginary voices) is needed to communicate with God to determine if they should pull the plug or not. I'm saying that it should be the rational humans.
