Jesus you guys much be a bunch of 30-50 year olds making decent money at a full time job... how the hell else do you justify being such assholes? I'm not paying him to relist the item. I was going to offer less than his buy it now but I didn't realize that meant having to buy the car. I haven't used eBay motors before so I guess you can pwn me on that too.

And I'm not going to "whine to mommy and daddy." Keep it coming, pussies.

How the hell am I embarrased? I have like 10 people asking me how old I am and a few other people stalking me and looking up my information on the internet. And no I am not in Corte Madera right now, thank you very much.

Keep trying to "own" me. I'm having a great laugh. I am not entitled to have to pay him anything. eBay isn't liable either and I know more lawyers than the seller of this car knows, all of them very good at what they do, so I wish him luck.

then why did you bother asking? You don't have the $200 for the advice?

yup, while I agree it's not cool to bid and not pay, in all reality it's not that big of a deal....man lot of people on here are @ssholes

It ties your asset up for at least 16 days. 8 days for dispute and 8 days more for FVF reimbursement.

On a small item, it is an inconvenience. On a big item, it is far more so.

So, if he re-lists he'll have to pay another $90.00 - so you don't own him $200.00 - you own him $180.00....

Pay up, slappy.....

It seems you failed at math 40 + 50 dollars is 90 dollars not 180 dollars.

The amount is for costing the man his auction... $90.00 (old auction) + $90.00 (new auction) = $180.00. Not only do you fail at mail, but reading comprehension as well...

The OP is only responsible for one set of those fees. The seller has to incur $90 to list and sell his car.

Honest question (since I've never used ebay motors): Someone posted a link from ebay that said the seller would close his auction if they entered into an agreement on sell price. So now the owner has closed an auction he paid $90 for but the transaction is not going to happen. He must now re-list for another $90 because the OP is not going to buy. Seems like he owes $180 to me.

But consider if the OP actually paid for the car. He wouldn't owe the seller for any fees at all. The seller pays $90 no matter what to get the first listing. He'd pay that fee no matter who bought it. A deadbeat bidder like OP means he must pay it again. But the OP was not responsible for the original set of fees. He only caused the seller to pay the 2nd fees.

I hope that the OP doesn't pay.

That way, the seller can file a complaint, get it heard in small claims, and then win a default judgement when the OP doesn't show up. Then, when the OP doesn't pay that, file it against his credit report.

Sure, the seller would be out the extra $40 for the small claims, but it would be priceless just to know that the OP's credit would be flushed down the toilet. He certainly deserves it.

I should get banned for sharing a personal tidbit of my life? Thank you Mr. 400 posts. Thank god this forum isn't run by you or everyone would be banned for posting something in OT by now...

Only having 400 posts makes Boo Boo's opinion somehow less important? Hmm...

I wonder... What is the ideal post count to have for your opinion to seem important? My hunch is that it's more than 2,000 but less than 10,000 (unless you're elite or a moderator, anyway).

I'd add my opinion but since I don't have enough posts to rate......I won't bother.

I have a feeling that the OP does not understand or care about his Credit and i am willing to bet it is already flushed down the toilet.

I doubt it, unless he fell for one of those columbia house type things. He hasn't had too much time to ruin his credit (especially since he leeches off of his parents).

I really hope the seller puts together the money and time to teach the OP a lesson.

I already submitted my resume to over 10 places... not like I'm not trying. Try again?

McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, KFC, Pizza hut, arbys, ... which ones am I missing?

perhaps the one stuck up your asshole?

I'm calling shens / trollbait on OP. Either way...I'll bite.

You are the dumb fvck who bid on car with money you don't have... people as dumb as you don't have a whole lot of career options ahead in life.

And your retort was really, really bad... I'm pity you. Please don't reproduce; not that you'll have many opportunities in life to do so.

Edit: Damn, not shens... OP, you are way low, man.... way low.

Of course the seller is going to have to fly across the country to sue the OP, and then the OP will lie and say he never made a bid on the item and that some one hacked his account.

I bet if it went that far, and the seller got the note and saw this thread, the Mods would help out, save the thread and look up the guys info like they have with spammers and confirm it was from the same household/pc. That would really rock

He prolly tried to pay with mommy's credit card but went over limit, and that's how he has a pretty good standing at ebay and heatware, which is now all flushed down the toilet if he doesnt pay.

wouldnt suprise me. this can't be the first time he ordered something online or such and expected mommy and daddy to pay for it.

i am sure they have said no and the OP just ignores it.

Would be nice to see the seller post here so that the OP really wets his pants. Can't stand junevile pricks who thinks they are above the rules of the real world and don't think before they act.

I think the suit would originate in the seller's state, because that is where the goods are being held. I might be wrong though.
