You are right Russ, though for us young people looks are definently a big attraction, and don't hurt anyway ;-).

Seriously, the girl I am most attracted to isn't the most beautifull (though she doesn't look bad), but she is really cool to hang out with. It is people like her that really make you realize the importance of character, and how it overshawdows looks in importance. My dad has a friend who is obssesed with pretty women (he dated a budwiser model once). He keeps going through them cause he ends up getting tired of their personalities. He is 40 or so and has never had a long relationship. Even though we always tease him about it (we play that song "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty women your wife" at the end of every relationship for him), it is sad. I would hope that each of us would have the foresight to look past looks. Something I have to work on!

Now, I am not saying that pretty women can't be cool either. Just that finding your "soulmate" really doesn't involve looks.

Umm OK.
That works out to be about 6.5 posts a day, or roughly about 30 minutes of my daily time dedicated to posting and reading. And as anyone can tell you, when I get bored I go on neffing streaks and rack up 50 or so post sa night, and that happens once or twice a month, getting me banned for a few days.

And I'm 17, she's 16...I'm not a fvcking pedophile, and she'll be 17 before I'm 18 since we are in the same grade.

Of course, I sincerely hope people aren't staying in relationships solely because of looks. I've met some really gorgeous women before that were absolutely annoying or dumb or both. The thought of dating them or being around them at any point simply because they are attractive is abhorrent. After all, at some point, WORDS are going to come from their mouth, and I rather not hear them.

Talking in terms of objective physical beauty, there are two women that come to mind. One was a 31 year old waitress, 5'6&quot;, 125#, short chestnut hair, near perfect physical shape. She was gorgeous and mature which was refreshing for a 24 year old. Good at other things, too. Didn't last long since she wasn't interested in a long term relationship though it was fun while it lasted. The other was a 24 year old part time student, about 5'4&quot;, 120#, long brown hair -- she biked all the time and had some of the BEST legs I have ever seen, including magazines and TV. No long term there either since she had broken off an engagement about six months earlier and wasn't ready for it. That definitely had potential, but it was bad timing.

Of course, the absolute best woman is my wife. Since attractiveness is so much more than physical appearance, she wins by a landslide. Approaching two years of wedded bliss, and I love her even more today. Damn glad I don't have to date anymore!
