Slightly off topic, but how do you benchmark BF3? Or are you just reporting fps from playing through.
I assume there is some benchmark function but Google didn't help me when I looked.

Most of them are done with intro videos on different single player levels.

Well, I've pretty much decided this is the card for me. Unfortunately, it doesn't have enough outputs for my needs, but I guess I can over come that with some tweaking.

I will be moving up to 3x1080p for my main desk (mostly for MMOs and work related nonsense.)

Does anyone recall if it is DP1.2 that can drive 2 monitors from one port? I recall reading that some where and wonder if it was DP1.2...I should look into it.

Now to hold off for IVB or just buy SB...damn you Intel!

What outputs does it lack?
My HD7950 has DVI, HDMI and two DP. This allows a total of 4 monitors assuming tow are DP, or you use active adapters. Those are the only tweaks required, and if you are buying new monitors, you can just get DP monitors and use the DP outputs.

Probably not the video as in the ig movies where he's getting interrogated.

But since BF3 has no built in benchmark, and MP is cpu intensive they just use FRAPS to record min/avg/max on the linear single player levels.

My system is wired into my house. I basically have HDMI ports in the bedroom, living room, and office (where my PC is now.)

Before my PC would be in the living room feeding the main entertainment system (where I did most of my gaming) and I'd have a dinky office PC for MMOs.

After I got my HD 5870 Eye6 I was able to run pretty much everything from one PC and I sort of love it.

Anyways, I'd need at least 5 outputs (as I'd rather not have to deal with splitters/switches.)

I'd want at least:
DL-DVI for my 120hz desktop monitor (check)
2xHDMI for the two side displays (check)
1xHDMI for the living room (could use DP to HDMI there)
1xHDMI for the bedroom (will have to find something.)
1xHDMI for office TV (again, issue)

Currently what I have on the Eye6 is:
DP->DL-DVI for the 120hz
DP->HDMI for second 1080p monitor on the desk
DP->HDMI for main TV in living room
DP->HDMI for TV in office
DP->HDMI for TV in bedroom
DP->HDMI for little monitor in the living room for light browsing if someone is using the TV.

I'd take off that monitor in the living room and use that port for the 3rd monitor.

I don't use all the monitors at once, at most I was using 2x either Eye6 2x1080p for MMOs, or 2xTVs (living room/Office) say if the GF wanted to watch something.

I think I might just remove the bedroom TV since I don't game in there, and let that run off the PS3 or Xbox, and then remove the dinky living room monitor, I'd still want 5 connections.

The other alternative was the ASUS DCUII but, the GA seems to have better thermals and got a better OC.
