Hi, I am new here and I would just like to say, You guys have some nice ass forums here. Props to that.
Anyways I am building my first computer. I've never done it before, but I have installed and removed many different computer parts from computers from time to time. I have just never built a computer from scratch fully.
First off what are some tips/tricks or general advice to building a comp?
Second I have a budget and most of my parts are already bought and sitting here. I was just waiting for the Intel Price drop today to buy my C2D E6750 for 183$! What is a good motherboard to go along with this CPU? I don't really wanna spend more than 150$~ on a Mobo but if its worth the buy I just might get a more expensive one.
Third I do NOT plan to overclock anything as I do not know how, nor do I plan to learn (this is my first computer). I don't wanna screw anything up maybe some other time I'll learn how to OC etc. But right now any information about OC'ing is worthless to me.
So far I have
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

SeaSonic S12-600 ATX12V / EPS12V 600W 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, FCC

SAPPHIRE 100186L Radeon X1950XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 VIVO HDCP

OCZ Gold 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
Gold Layered XTC Heatspreader

I plan on scrapping all the peripherals, monitor, hard drives, speakers, headphones, usb/card reader drive, and CD/DVD drives from my old computer. But anyone posting a huge deal on any of these is more than welcome to suggest something I already have.
Since I plan to buy an Intel C2d E6750 Does anyone have any idea what the best motherboard would be to go with this? Also Where can I get a nice CRT 19"+ monitor? they seem to be hard to find these days and I despise LCD.
PS-
