No I personally didn't play it, but I sat and watched my buddy play it for a few minutes, that was enough for me to see what the game was
You just made every post you've made in here in regards to the game null and void.

One thing I hate is having to unlock weapons or attachments for weapons. I want to pick my load out to start and dont limit me and give me a disadvantage or I want to find each weapon on the map and use what I want.
Sounds like you're on my page level of many games Jumbie. I really don't like many new games, especially shooters and it's for the same reason I enjoyed CS when I first picked it up in 1.5 when it was just moving to 1.6. CS is a straight up tactical shooter. You have 1 simple objective, plant/defuse bomb, and when it's over, the game ends, and a new one starts.
These new games all seem to have 1 common thread. They try to make the game as hectic/fast paced as humanly possible. So they add killstreaks, massive amounts of players, crazy environments, HUGE maps, etc. In fact, every game the whole point is MORE MORE MORE. It's never "Lets see how we can make the game play better.", it's how many guns can we have in this one, how many maps, how big are the maps, how crazy can we make the maps? Can we merge 3 maps into 1 map?
Counter Strike players aren't going to really ever feel at home in this modern day age of gaming. Gaming has changed for the worse.
If I was going to change Counter Strike to market it to the main stream gamer today I would do this.
Larger game modes
Kill Streaks
Vehicles
Leveling up (Every game has to have a system of leveling somehow)
More weapons
Unlockable weapons
Pay only weapons
More character models/customizations
Additions to pay for more models.
Matchmaking
etc.
Sadly, the best shooter I've played in the last 3-4 years was Halo 4 and the Halo series in general. Because it's most likely limited by console hardware, they can't do huge scale game modes so 4 on 4 is still very common. That was when my team/team mates used the most tactics/strategies to win games.
But in BF4? 32 on 32? Ya, it's run around and take objectives. Or don't. No one really cares. We're just shooting each other for 30+ minutes straight and then on to a new game! Hopefully you have a high K/D right? 30+ minute frag fests under the guise of a "game mode". Really, they might as well call it TDM with an option to do other things to score points.
Not necessarily. This is a video game, in this day and age you don't have to physically play a game to make judgement on it at all. Were in an age of "Lets Play!" millions of people judge a game based on video reviews and these user created content. You can base a formal opinion on a game through this content. I didn't have to play Aliens: Colonial Marines to know I didn't like it, and that it was a terrible game. I had reviews, articles, tons of walk-throughs and game play videos to base my opinion off of, this is 2014.

Ok, so you've already determined that Titanfall is not your thing... What's the point of going into a Titanfall thread to proclaim your dislike of it?
Good point. But still... I'm not a Two Broke Girls fan, but no way would I ever waste my time complaining about the TV show on a message board.I think the title for this thread may set the tone for what people expect in here. "Titanfall just 6v6" just seems like it's already looking for detractors.
Yesterday, I found myself on the other side. We were communicating, and all capable players. I had more fun in that couple hour session than I've had in years with a FPS!yesterday i got UTTERLY CRUSHED by a team that knew what they were doing and were moving as a team. I liked that for the 1st time I was able to see the potential of being in a coordinated team.
anyone knows when the beta ends?

The beta ends today at 6pm Pacific time.
Do you have a degree in twisting words? You should look into joining Congress or something.
Just because I don't demand a complete change on everything, it does not mean that I only like one style of play. Stop putting words in my mouth. Stop making assumptions. Your argument is extremely flawed here, and the fact you are drawing assumptions the way you are has me sick of trying ot have a "rational" conversation with you.
You are the one who keeps saying that everything is TDM or Capture and Hold, even though every shooter has alternatives, plenty of which I pointed out for both Halo and CoD (and it carries over a bit into Gears, CS:GO, and TF2 as well). You keep making the same point about game types over and over, and it's a flat-out lie.
I give up. Ignorance wins.

Does it make you feel better, like therapy?
Are you trying to convince those who like it, that they shouldn't?
Or that they are inferior because they do?

MMMMM, Kat Dennings
Oh Im sorry what was this topic about?
Gap tooth, no thanks.
Seriously though, people that don't like the game are fine to discuss it. But, when you come in a thread about a came and insult those that do like it with opinions based on a beta you've never played, what do you expect?
