so I'm guessing LUElinks is the "World" crew of this game? I shit-load of members, but maybe 90% of them softies, cowering behind a name? looking at how the crews are ranked, there are plenty that are a few spots off with almost 3% of the membership.


Though....I suppose we don't get to see the actual score separating the rankings.

Comparing his MHz rank vs your Bandwidth Rank doesn't give you any information. The only way to really be certain is to guess his MHz compared to YOUR MHz rank and guess if you can win.


The distribution of MHz and Bandwidth are different so that's why you can't compare ranks between the two.

Warning: this is a good way to lose your attacks. Before I put the belt on the lawnmower, I found someone significantly higher ranked than I am who I have *just* barely enough kbps to beat. And, he had dropped 4 or 5 ranks since this morning.

Yeah, I've been hitting the people on the front page for boat loads of fun. But that's what I do, I gauge their mhz to mine, and then WHAM!!!

Correct about the distribution. But, I think you mean guess his Mhz compared to YOUR kbps. Rank doesn't matter, it's the actual number of points. For example, MY kbps at the moment is 11804. I've lost a couple of attacks, (unfortunately), but have figured out that at the moment, it corresponds to a rank of 283rd in Mhz. So, anyone ranked 283 or higher (and not an ATOTer) is fair game for me. So, next time I'm about to do an attack, I'll sell some of the Mhz, buy some kbps, and scour the ranks above me for a name that appears somewhat stagnant in rank & has a Mhz rank >283.

Just got hit by some guy ranked 110, he didn't get much, but he killed like 60 of my computers. he has a really high KBPS but low CPU, so I hit him back. Only got like 25 credits, but I killed 17% of his computers for a total of 1945!
