They probably just put your box on the dmz (or just port forwarded everything), and then used a known vulnerability to hijack you.
All you really need is to reconfigure your router to factory default settings, and then
change the admin password. Then either reformat or scour your pc (anti-virus, hijackthis, etc.), and you should be good to go. If you are really worried about it pick up a firewall.
