Watched episodes 2 and 3 today - the show has a very different feel than I expected and the directing is fairly unusual too. I like it though!
Need more Grace Gummer. She's Meryl Streep's daughter in case you aren't aware.
Something better happen in the next few episodes. So far, I've been extremely underwhelmed by where this show has gone. It's like the entire story led up to the conclusion of the first season and they are just milking that.
There is something going on with White Rose and Phillip Price, as shown for a few minutes in the last episode and in the post-credit scene from last season. But I am so over Elliot's breakdown, time for Mr. Robot to take over and for him to get in gear.
there is the fan theory that he is in a mental institute the whole time and Craig Robinson is a ward, which would be disappointing IMHO
I have such a hard time separating him out from the Office and other work. It's to the point where it's hard to take his character serious. Almost expect him to pull out an electronic piano and start singing.
In general, this is where shows disappointment. Lure me in with what seems to be a hacking show and anarchy and now it's about mental health. Lost did that were it started off with a sci-fi/mystery feeling about an enchanted island and slowly deteriorated into a drama based around purgatory.
Um... I told you not to look.
OK then, it is finally moving.
Chinese hotel massacre was more action than every episode so far.
