Once this season is over, I might have to go do that myself, rewatch the first half for clues.


And damn, a lot of people complain that this season is bad, or at least not as good as the first... but I just don't see it. I mean, sure, I can see why some would say that based on expectations, but I am thoroughly enjoying this season. And now, especially with this huge twist, I am very excited to see how the rest of the season shapes up.

and was disappointed I didn't think about that twist with some of the clues they laid (except that he met with both his sister and the eCorp girl in that one scene, which makes as much sense as Tyrell meeting with Mr. Robot if that's true). So I don't know, I still think it's weaker/different than the first season, and now we're kind of back to square one with Elliot.

I liked last night's show, gave us some nice character development.

Indeed, I absolutely loved this episode. But I was a little disappointed that there was no furthering of Elliot's story.

Overall though, agree, best episode of the season. I'm glad to see a lot of things starting to hit the boiling point.

The teaser for next week looks intriguing. Definitely hoping there is continued momentum in the overarching story and we see Elliot back in the fold. I think we will, and I expect the last half of the season to be pretty epic if we're just getting started.

This show was already renewed early on for another season, just like thet ordered a second season before the pilot even aired. I think we've got a good ride in store. Personally I've enjoyed the whole season, it's definitely been a slow burn but I can appreciate that when it has a good payoff.

Seriously - I don't think I'd want to bang her at this point if I ran into her. She's got that "I might kill you once we finish" mantis vibe going on with her. But I do love how she is getting confident enough now that she won't take shit from anyone, even if she looks on the verge of murder every time she responds to an attack.

..so now Elliot is Ollie too? Did they *need* to focus on the jail routine for 20 minutes also? Is he just playing dumb since Stage 2 was his idea? The way they film this show worked in the first season but this time around is just confusing and annoying.

What was interesting about that scene was that it seemed like she knew who he was and she was playing along. I thought she might have known him as a different personality, although Tyrell could have told her about him since they shared the details of his plan.

I'm pretty sure Tyrell and Elliot have each to talked to other people in the same scene. I think the first time we met Tyrell was in a meeting at Allsafe. And Mr Robot and Tyrell talked to each other in the SUV. It would be funny though if there were more personalities and they didn't know about each other, and all the different personalities came up with the hack.

So true. I've enjoyed every episode. I enjoy the slow-burn approach to storytelling. Sure, it wasn't revealing as much early on, not as much "action", but I felt it was totally worth it, and has made this season all the better for it. Now we are into some amazing episodes, all these disparate threads coming together violently, and it's like a crescendo in an amazing piece. I for one wouldn't change a thing about this season. And as we draw near to the conclusion, I already am ecstatic for the third season.

Honestly, I like the show but I can't remember all of the details that I need to from one season to the next so I end up being like 'WTF' half of the time. And I don't want to ask someone to e'splain because then it looks like I haven't been paying attention. IDK. Maybe I haven't been or else I WOULD remember.

I'm guessing they tracked his cell phone -- may even have been voluntary since he was their butt boy.

Camera angles, ya, the wide shots with the actor to one side of the screen. Has a dream-like feel to it, like it much better than the super close-ups that's standard.

It kinda reminds me of that movie Drive, but made by someone like Brian DePalma in the 70s (ex Blowout). Its interesting to watch, and kinda makes me appreciate the casting because if everything isn't right this would be a train wreck. I still think this season is a little pretentious, but man, the last sequence of scenes at the diner was awesome.

I also don't see how Elliot doesn't end up back in jail or decide to permanently be lost in his own injected reality

I don't think there's any way this show will end with a "happy" ending which I'm fine with

Everything surrounding Angela is just...weird. I can't figure out if I like it or not...which I guess means it's good. I dunno.
