Loved it. Sure some of the ideas are rehashed (Fight Club and V is for Vendetta) , but the overall presentation is rock solid. It's a complete mind-fuck the whole time.
though it wasn't much of a surprise that Mr. Robot was him and Slater was imaginary
It was a little far-fetched that E-Corp used this relatively small boutique company Allsafe for their security -- and that they had some 26 year old, unseasoned account rep handling the whole thing.
The soundtrack, the cinematography were all top notch. I love shows that do new things and push boundaries -- it was great that they just dropped F-bombs and decided to leave them and just bleep them out. I wonder if the mind thought was "well, it'll be on Netflix/online soon where we can do that stuff, so lets just leave it in".
Man I am torn on watching this, read people raving about it and then I found out it was a USA show..ewwww. Their shows are awful(Psych, Graceland, Burn Notice etc.). A real delima..

I was beginning to think that kind of twist was going to be revealed right at the end there, but they went somewhere else with it.
I'm still very confused by how Tyrell had an interaction with Mr. Robot that seemed to spell out a history, but yet Tyrell acted surprised when he figured out that Elliot was behind everything.
I might be remembering that Tyrell-Mr.Robot moment wrong, I think I am, but I remember something seeming weird looking back on it after the reveal.
I thought that too, but then how would he be talking to Tyrell's wife? Though she may have been "playing along" with him in the conversation figuring out that "hey wait a minute, this dude is crazy and thinks he's somebody else"

She could have married Elliot knowing he was crazy, and she could even use each personality to their potential. It would be an interesting twist, but I doubt it. Mainly because we know Elliot and Tyrell have each interacted with other people at the same time. Like in Steel Mountain when Tyrell prevented Elliot from being thrown out. Not to mention Tyrell's secretary didnt know who Elliot was. But I guess with this show you could always argue Elliot was never going to be escorted out of Steel Mountain, and he never asked the secretary to see Tyrell.

I like the show, but I don't like that it was picked up for another season. It was originally conceptualized as a single movie. I wanted the plot resolution of a limited run series. Feels like it will just get drug out now, indefinitely. I'm growing really tired of shows like that.
