First season was great, looking forward to this one. I was kind of wondering what would happen with this show, glad to see they're continuing it.
yeah. To be honest I didn't watch the first season until they approached me about working on the second. Its good tv. Mind you I have seen 2 scenes and read all the scripts so far. Going to nyc on friday to record the city with my holophone and get access to props for recording.
hope you guys watch in surround sound.

Awesome.Back from recording! Here are some non spoiler pictures of my rig:
Ended up with 75 gigs of fresh sounds.
So I finally started watching this since Amazon made it available for streaming. I'm only on Ep3 but couple things that are bothering me...
Is the place really called "Evil Corp" or is it that we are seeing and hearing through Elliot and what he imagines? That's kind of confusing, but I hope what is going on. If the place is really named "Evil Corp" I'll be over here rolling my eyes. Also, pretty blatant rip-off of Dell's "E" logo. But I guess they aren't using it anymore.
There's three main girls in Elliot's life at this point and 2 of them look nearly identical. C'mon.
It's nerdy, It's "OK", hope it goes somewhere from here. I'm not falling over in love with the main actor like everyone else seems to be.

Creator Sam Esmail, stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater and other experts talk about the unlikely success of the show and how they were able to make hacking a relatable subject; also featured is a recap of season one and a look ahead to season two.
Why the heck did they stick this show at such a oddball timeslot? 11PM?

So I just forced myself through Episode 3 or 4, can't remember which but basically. Ugh, that was painful.Elliot does heroin and 20 minutes of annoying bullshit dream/high sequence happens
It was a little far-fetched that E-Corp used this relatively small boutique company Allsafe for their security -- and that they had some 26 year old, unseasoned account rep handling the whole thing.
I love the show personally. There's the constant internal conflict you get from the narration and I've always had a fondness for good narration. Probably comes from having watched so many documentaries.
And the last episode was really good. The human engineering that enables so many hacks is something that generally gets overlooked in bs shows like CSI Cyber. Most of the time you watch stories like that and just shake your head. It's one thing to suspend disbelief when it's not a major component of the story and something else entirely when it IS the story.
Yeah, and I was also fine with the mystery of his psychosis. Like finding outwas shocking. It would be interesting to know if anything else we've seen with him simply didnt happen at all. Maybe he never even confronted the child porn dude.he forgot Darla was his sister
But even if the only person he sees is his dad, it could still work for many seasons, like Baltar in Battlestar Galactica.
