How about "Don't take topless pictures of yourself if you don't want people to see them"?
Nudes were what the hackers chose to steal and redistribute because thats more fun than mundane bullshit. But all personal files were at risk and people need to expect a certain amount of privacy and security regardless of what the material is.
Its like when a girl dresses like a whore, gets drunk, wanders down a dark alley, and gets raped. I'm gonna call her a dumbass and tell he she needs to be much smarter in the future, BUT I'M STILL GONNA HUNT THE RAPIST DOWN AND PROSECUTE!
A hunter needs to chase down wolves killing sheep regardless of whether somebody left a hole in the fence or not.
Of course the NSA's attitude is to put GPS tags and cameras on all the wolves regardless of what they've actually done so far, but thats a separate debate.
