Good price. But personally, I thought Hackers was TERRIBLE. Lots of holes in the storyline, as believeable as cows drinking Pepsi. Acting was as good as Keanu Reaves on a bad day.

I really like that whole "elite" thing on that movie. The other really funny thing was the fact that the name of that really huge computer they were trying to hack was a "Gibson". I can't remember what book it was, but some guy with the last name "Gibson" is known as the father of either Cyberspace or something stupid like that. I guess the writers of that movie took off with it. I know that movie was crap, but it was MUCH better than the story they had on "The Net". At least they placed Hackers in the future so you would believe it-

The computer the protagonists break into is a fictional mainframe computer called a "Gibson". This is actually an homage to the author William Gibson whose best-known book, Neuromancer, hailed the birth of the cyberpunk genre.


By the way: another William Gibson novel, "The Difference Engine," took its title from one of Charles Babbage's machines.
