I don't think you had a dream about your life = teh suck, you woke up to reality.

I look for new jobs almost all the time, congrats on finding one!

ATOT always needs a feel-good story once in awhile. Keep at it, and keep trying to go higher man. Congrats, and do not stop there!

I'm sure your story there made a lot of people here smile. In light of a lot of bickering and tragedy spoken in these forums, your thread is a good breath of fresh air. With your good luck and actions, you've made a lot of people smile as well. Couldn't ask for a better day for yourself... and me neither! I started off the day getting my impacted wisdom teeth extracted, and now end w/ a Lakers victory and now your story! woot!

Deja vu is commonly explained as a misbalance in the chemicals that make you feel like you've remembered something. Considering that you were slightly off-balance at the time, it's not unreasonable that your body was a little confused in what hormones to produce.

Congratulations, do your best with this job, and if you ever need help with something, post here on AT.

I've had some dreams like that, but none have been completed just yet. Mine are usually about me trying, and so I'll continue with that.

Congratulations dude!

This story is inspirational when compared to some of the things you hear on various forums about people and the problems they have to face. I?m really glad to hear that things are working out much better for you now, and it reaffirms the old saying that we should just keep on trying and we will eventually succeed.

What really puts a smile on my face is the fact that you aimed for the stars/top, which in this case was the manager position. If it was me I would have applied for assistant manager mainly because I don?t really have any management experience either, so the chances of getting that position (asst mngr) would be much higher.

I?m kind of jealous to be honest. =P

If only I wasn?t so lazy, then your story may have actually motivated me to look for something better myself. But like some have mentioned, keep on sending out those resumes, just in case you end up disliking your job or something even better comes along.

All the best. =)

Great story, by the way. I just wish that my dreams of being a billionaire playboy with a harem of underwear models were as clear, so I could follow them as well

You went to the mall and looked for a job and got one after dreaming about doing it. Sounds like you're 100% responsible for your good fortune. Congrats.

Thats a rough business. Those paycheck advance places probably attract a bad crowd, it seems. The commercials are always cheesy and lame and they always have bars on the windows.

Wow dude, congrats. I guess "follow your dreams" is literal here, isn't it? Pretty inspiring, IMO.

As SOON as I was done filling out the application the area supervisor walked in (coming from Houston) and said he would interview me right then and there!

Wow has Wal Mart eased up on the hiring process or something? My ex GF got a job at the local distribution center and I swear to god the only thing they didnt do was a full body cavity search...

They interview her like 4 times and she was pissed and about to say screw it, and they called and said she was hired...

NM reread it and it wasnt Wal mart doh...

My jaw literally fell open when I read this. Congratulations, friend. God, your subconscious, karma, dumb luck, whatever you want to attribute this to- something's looking out for you. Congratulations, man.

Nice job!!
This reminds me of the time my friend dreamed of playing $100 on the roulette table twice in a row and striking it rich.
He dreamed about it multiple times, and we ended up going to the casino at atlantic city
So we were playing poker, a few slot machines, lost a few hundred bucks. We were getting ready to leave, until he said, ok last $5 into this $5 wheel of fortune slot machine... and we won $200! He tried a few more spins on that machine, and on the 4th spin, he got the spin and won the highest amount on the spin board, which is $1500!!
So we ended up with about $1600.
So now with this money, and feeling so lucky, he decided to actually do the crazy thing he dreamed of, put $100 on #28.
yes... HE WON!!!! $3600+$1600
