It looks TOTALLY different from all the other bills.

yes, they have braille too when i first got one a few weeks ago, the guy was buying some Haagen Dazs and i thought it was fake i took it anyways and gave it back to the next person who gave me a $20

yes theyve been around for over a week now...i too thought it was a fake when i was first handed it....

also for the security features, put it under a black light...looks cool.

The new $10 bill is very cool. Especially the gold maple leafs on the front. I?m especially proud of the tribute to the war veterans on the back. The brail was long overdue, but again, very cool... and I really like the new purple. Now just to find a black light...

I haven't seen the new tenner yet but it was shown on the news. Looks pretty gaudy.

I also suspect the braille is there for anti-counterfeit measures.. It's awfully hard to make an raised surface like that on a photocopier.

I think that is a great idea...anything to help the blind...

Saw it on the news last week, but yesterday a had one in hand. I like it! I know a couple blind people, so the addition of braille will be a welcome addition to them(they won't have to ask and trust strangers what bill they have in hand anymore).

It looks a lot better on the net than it did on camera. The news made it look horrible!

Braille is a good idea. I have to agree with you Sandorskin and BinDerDoneDat. It is a great for the blind. Many people find it hard to understand that interest unless they've known someone who is blind or is themselves.
