Had some 'road rage' today

That sounds almost as bad as what some people do when you pass them at night. You pass them because they are going slow, and then they turn on their brights! Ugh!! This happened to me about a week ago. I was in a bad mood already, so I layed on my brakes down to about 30mi/hr in a 55 zone. Well when that driver got on my tail, he turned off his brights, but when I sped back up, he turnred them back on. Well go figure: I got on my brakes again, and he tried to be Mr. Cool and pass me, so I gunned it. Unfortunatly my turn was coming up, so I turned off and he went by me. I know I looked like an a$$hat, but I got a kick out of it. :evil:

Anyway, sorry about that. Old people and cars are a dangerous combination for just what happened to you.

Yeah, that one definitely pisses me off as well. I don't generally mind having to pass people in the HOV lane, even though it can be a pain since you're technically allowed to enter/leave only at certain places here in GA. However, if there aren't even enough people in the car to justify being in the carpool lane in the first place, I get pretty damn irate. I did see one person get pulled over for this is some pretty heavy rushhour traffic, though; I laughed.

I'm just irked by lack of road etiquette as a whole. I hate it when people refuse to change into the right hand lane to allow you to pass them on the left on a two-lane highway, when people don't use their blinkers while changing lanes or turning, when people who're traveling at a much slower rate than me come into my lane right in front of me rather than waiting two seconds for me to pass before changing over, etc. People are far too often oblivious to the happenings on the road around them.
