Got one of these: lawn carts doggone 2 hours to assemble it, too dark to make the kids pull me in it by the time I got done.

Guess I'll have to use it to haul lawn crap around

Just take one from the supermarket lot next time, they come pre-assembled.

Nope, don't mind @ all, gotta do the crap anyway, might as well have the tools to play with. I hate to hire stuff done, but appreciated having the illegals weed my blvd this morning, guess that was my other present.

The same kind of person who would get their wife (if they have kids) or mother cooking stuff (good pots and pans, etc) for a holiday. This kind of stuff tends to fall under the "I'd love to have it, but I'd never go out and buy it myself" category - My parents do it for each other all the time.

Heh, at first I read Lawn Darts and I was thinking, "man his kids really want to secretly kill him to give him lawn darts."

For the really young here.....lawn darts were big pointed metal projectiles that you threw in the air towards a target. The first part of the problem was people had such crappy aims that the darts would go everywhere. The second part of the problem is that pointed metal objects falling randomly from the sky eventually punctured the skulls (resulting in the untimely death of the owner of the skull) of so many unsuspecting victims that they were outlawed.

It's a nice little cart, has metal sides that fold down and the handle comes off to reveal a hitch that can attach to the back of your riding lawn mower.

We had a lawn cart for years and years. Lawn use - maybe once or twice. Kid playtime - totally. Kids sold lots of lemonade from that thing.

Some of you guys are nuts - that cart is a great dad's day gift. Anymore, all I buy my dad is yard stuff and my mother kitchen stuff. It's what they like and it's what they want.

I bought my dad a badass new weed whip thingy.
