HAF 922 owners! Difficulty adding 2.5" SSD?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a HAF 922 and a SSD for my new build. I've been told that it's difficult to get a 2.5" SSD into one, any truth in that? I figure I could just use a 2.5" to 3.5" drive bay adaptor, but apparently there will be some difficulty due to the HAF's tool-less design.

Got a 2.5" SSD on mine with no issues. Used a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter like you said.

dude you dont even need to mount an SSD cause they dont vibrate and they're extremely durable (vs conventional drives). you can get an adapter that will fit the bays it comes with np, but you can also do what i did and just not mount it, or hide it behind the motherboard tray in that huge several inch bulge they put in for cable management. i saw one install where someone put one in with double sided tape just sitting there against the tray. you could also put it in in between 2 other drives if you want it held in place. thats the great thing about SSD's, there's just so many options for mounting them that you either dontw ant to do or could damage a mechanical drive doing

ed: btw, i have a haf 932, and i built a friends rig in a haf 922 as well, both with SSDs, so i had some fun coming up with ideas on where to mount them out of the way to save space LOL. the best part is what you can do with them in a SFF build with a custom case, or using a standard one with minor mods.

u can always buy a enclosure like i did.

Would allow you to throw in a second SSD in the future on it.

if you want something that will fit a 5 1/4 bay, there are also these guys:

Its the SAS backplane in the rear.
SAS is backwards compatible to SATA.
