HAF 932 vs Antec 1200

So I just ordered my new computer and I picked the HAF 932 but I kinda feel like the Antec 1200 would have been the better choice. I chose the HAF because Amazon had it with free shipping so I decided to save some extra money and I knew it's a good case. But the Antec 1200 comes with 6 fans compared to the 4 that comes with the HAF but then I looked at the fan size and the HAF has 3 230mm fans, so does this give the edge to the HAF?

Personally I think the 1200 is ugly as hell compared to the HAF. The Antec comes with more installed yeah, but the HAF has better fan placement

I just picked up a HAF a couple of nights ago along with a Corsair HX620. The thing was great to work with. Cable management was pretty easy along with the modular PSU. The hard drive mounting was really quick and painless along with the 5.25" drives. Those are all screwless design. The hard drives don't feel quite as secure as I am used to, but I think they will be fine. I am coming from an Antec Sonata, and I really like the hard drive mounts in that case.

This thing does a great job of cooling. My 8800GTS idles at 49 and loads at 62 now. It used to about 5-6 degrees higher at idle and load. My E8400 @ 3.6 idles at around 32 or 33 and hits 49 or 50 at load. It is paired with a Xigmatek S1283. In the old case it was idling in the upper 30's/low 40's and load was upper 50's. I will be able to give a better opinion about noise once I turn my HSF around into push. I can hear it right now because the fan on the 1283 is right next to the 140mm exhaust on the case.

Honestly, the thing that I was most put off by before I bought it was the looks and the bright red led fan. In a bunch of pics I saw, it looked like the whole case was lit up bright red. Once I got it though, the red is only noticeable from the front and its not that bright at all.

Anyways, in my short day and a half of ownership, I give it a thumbs up. Sorry I can't compare it to a 1200, but I hope it helps.

The HAF has the possibility of mounting 8x 120mm fans, 1x 140mm fan, and 1x 230mm fan instead of 3x 230mm fans and 1x 140mm fan. This is meant for the mounting of a LCS radiator.

If you don't like glowy, don't go with the 1200. The red LED 230mm fan is less noticeable. I like my HAF. But it is all subjective. Go with whatever you like better and stick with it.

Can anyone tell me if the HAF has a fan mount on the bottom of the case and if so what size? It looks like it might, but I can't tell for sure from newegg's pics

120mm, however, if you have a long powersupply, the extended mount covers the fan mount.

The HAF has very quiet, large fans. I actually can't tell my system is on most of the time. No dust filters does suck though.

I wouldn't worry too much if you've already gotten the HAF 932. There's certainly pros/cons of both, but there's not enough difference to second-guess your choice.

Antec 1200 pros: Better style (subjective), better side visibility, better overall air-flow (more balanced), variable rheobus controls for front 3 fans, 3-way speed switches rear fans and top fan, fan filters in front and side. Roomy interior, enough for a radiator at the top.

932 pros: Better side fan, better cable management, better HDD mounting and concealment, better motherboard plate/accessibility (cut-out),

I love the 1200, but there's certainly features on the 932 and newer cases I'd like to see from Antec in the future, mainly better side panel cooling (2nd 120mm or a larger fan) and either PCB SATA sockets or better mounting/routing like what's seen on the 932.
